History

Established in 2000.

ATS started as a computer support business working with small businesses, providing desktop and server support as well as networking services. As we worked with many small businesses we found that they had one thing in common, they were frustrated working with multiple companies to cover all of their technology needs. This caused us to broaden our offering. We are now the single point of contact for all technology needs for many businesses. This has required more than offering additional services. It requires building a relationship with each customer based on trust. This relationship allows our customers to rely on us taking care of all their technology needs whether it be servers, networking, phone system, backup, desktop support, or hosting services. Our broad range of services allow our customers to have peace of mind that all of their technology is being taken care of.

Business Owner

With B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa, my career started as a manufacturing engineer working with PLC’s and process control. After moving back to Iowa, I switched jobs, taking a position as the Director of Technology at a K-​12 school. After 10 years, the position was eliminated due to budget cuts. This caused me to pursue a dream of having my own business.

Advanced Tech Solutions was started in 2000. Since that time we have hired new employees, moved into a new office, and grown significantly. With all of this, I still have the single goal of developing relationships with all of our customers, ensuring we are taking care of all their technology needs.
