my favorite place to get acrylics! the ambiance and environment are great and the inside us beautiful– don’t let the location fool you. everyone that has done my nails here has great attention to detail and does great work. the staff is sweet and nice and especially great at accommodating me, someone that has always bitten her nails. the customer loyalty stamp card, military discount, and free eyebrow wax if you spend $ 30 are wonderful incentives to keep coming back.

Have been going to see van for bout 2 months now to start my process of not biting my nails. She is the
at what she do. I will never go to anyone else. i also get a free eyebrow wax every time I go.
The shop and staff are very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like family when you come in.
She also opens up early if u make an appointment.
Low key spot just like I like it.

I’ve been going to Van for over 5 years and she always does an amazing job at a great price! I’ve also had my nails done by other people at her shop and still have a great experience. I highly recommend going to her if you want to look fabulous!

Terrible experience. They cut the top of my friends toe with the grater and then made her pay for her pedicure. When the guy cut her toe he blamed her and said if she hadn’t been moving it would not have happened. $ 45 for a toe amputation!

My friends and I went to this salon for pedicures. I asked for the spa works. The guy was going entirely to fast with the callus shaver and sliced my toe. Instead of apologizing he told me I was the one who moved. I was sitting there with a bloody toe and he’s telling me it’s my fault. Seriously? Instead of offering a free pedicure or any compensation for my pain they made me pay for the entire ordeal. I’m not one for confrontation so I paid but I would not recommend this place. Additionally, the massage itself was not very pleasant. The salt scrub was done really aggressively and was not very relaxing. And because my toe was still bleeding he could only put paraffin wax on one of my feet. And I still had to pay full price! Very frustrating experience.

Went in for a pedicure, manicure and eye brow wax.
First impression was pretty bad, when I walked in, no one said anything. Finally someone sitting in one of the chairs goes «what you want?» And we went from there. Not great hospitality but I chalked that up to language barrier.
Pedicure went pretty good. Not amazing but good.
Manicure was awful. She put two coats on then went for the top coat. I told her it was too sheer and I wanted it opaque, she told me that wasn’t a thing. Specifically she said «well I’ve never seen that before,»
Look, I’m not exactly a beauty queen but I’ve had my nails done a time or two and I know that when you paint your nails, the paint can be opaque, without the whites of your nails showing through the paint.
So she told me to go pick another color. I did, she did the same thing on one finger. I told her i don’t want something sheer or see through, I wanted an opaque coat. She kept insisting that it wasnt possible and the nail was going to show through the paint no matter what.
Eventually I just told her I was going to leave. Paid for what I had already received. Tipped back what I had gotten from the (I assume military) 10% discount and left.
I wasnt about to let her have a go at my eye brows after all that.
Would not recommend, would not go back. I genuinely don’t understand how they have all these rave reviews after my experience here.

Very affordable and great service. Get your eyebrows waxed for free if you spend more than $ 30. They also do military discounts and customer loyalty discounts.
Also, everything looked really clean, which is a big thing for me when choosing nail salons.

Very good nail salon. The owner Jordan did my gel mani/​pedi and he is very good. Also very thorough. I am pregnant and my feet are swollen, so with the Spa pedi I asked him to be gentle and not do a strong massage and he politely did just that. I will definitely return. The only downfall is that if you don’t get there early you may have to wait because there weren’t many employees on the day I went. They take appointments also, which could be a good idea if you don’t have much time to wait.

Ok I’ve come at least 4 times now and I’ve had 5 star experiences and 1 star experiences but over all this place is a 2 because most of the nail techs aren’t that good and the nail polish selection is horrible. The sanitation however seems to be good. Today I’m writing this review because I have gel polish all over my fingers and the young male nail tech was super sarcastic and rushed me the whole time. I have had great experiences with pedicures but I’ll post pictures of my hands so you can see why I won’t be coming back

First visit but I’m sure it won’t be the last. A great group of folks and even though I just had a pedicure I will definitely be back to try more services. A great think to not is that $ 30 or more of services you get free eyebrow waxing, how awesome is that!!!

On a whim we went in to Hampton Nails and Spa. Was amazing and the service was outstanding. One of the best pedicures I have had of hundreds done by V the owner. She and her colleagues are a welcome addition to Hampton. KW

I just got to the area and needed to find a nail salon so I tried Hampton Nails and spa. I was a little skeptical at first because they said I should try to gel extension instead of acrylic powder. But I tried it because it is better for your nails. I’m glad I went this direction, my nails are beautiful! And I got a free eyebrow wax because my nails were over $ 30. Brain is amazing! Go here!

So, I was visiting my family and really wanted to get my nails done. I usually go to Nail Pro at PH mall but wanted to try a different place and saw that gel manis were 30 instead of the local 35 dollar price range. Unilocal gave this place great reviews and so I was excited to try it.
It’s located in an unusual spot. IT definitely stands out compared to the other vacant looking businesses around.
My friend and I were the first to enter, and they had like three people working. We both wanted Mani/​Pedis and they started right away.
My friend got Maria, who was really pleasant and talkative. She did an excellent job on her mani/​pedi. MY friend hardly gets stuff like this done so I was happy she enjoyed it. She also got the free eyebrow service you get if you spend more than 30 bucks, which was awesome.
I’m not sure of the lady who did my mani/​pedi but she was very nice. The pedicure was very good. We forgot to pick out colors and they accommodated us but it seemed out of annoyance which definitely was off putting. Like my bad, damn.
I wanted a pink tipped french gel manicure with a silver lines. I told my friends tech and the lady who was working on me. And I got nothing even close to it. I pretty much got a basic pink color that was super light with one finger of glitter because when I pointed out that wasn’t what I wanted she was gonna use a nail file drill to remove the mistake. I’m pretty sure with gel you soak off the color not drill it off so I stopped her and told her just finish it with no designs.
I felt bad because she was apologetic but the final results even looks crappy. Like some of my nails are not fully covered and some nails look lighter than the others. I can definitely say this is by far the worse manicure I’ve gotten to date. MY eyebrows turned out good but I was extremely irritated because when she pulled the strips she had to tug them twice because she didn’t apply enough pressure.
Overall? I hope it was a bad day for my lady because this place has gotten good reviews but I would never come here again. HR has so many nail salons that this stuff is just amature.

I love coming here and getting my nails done by Vivi. I’m so glad I found this place. Everyone is always so nice, my nails always look amazing, and it’s not like all the other nail salons I’ve been to, where you feel like they’re talking about you in their language. The workers there are engaged in conversation with you. Great place to come and pamper yourself.

Love them! Found them on Unilocal and went in today! I don’t live in the area so I trusted my fellow Unilocalers’ reviews and I was not disappointed! I had a collagen gel manicure on my own nails with blue mood polish… Wonderful manicure and my nails look great! Will be returning when I’m back in Hampton Roads!

Great service !! Came in on Saturday for the first time and they treated me like family! The pedicure was great & Jordan did an excellent job on my nails! Definitely will be my new nail home, broke a nail & Jordan fixed it right away! Service is excellent I definitely recommend, only good things to say :)

Love it here. They take their time and great customer service. You can buy a nail kit so whenever you come back you have your very own set. This was my first time here but definitely not my last

After trying several nail salons since I’ve moved from Chesapeake I think I’ve finally found a gem. Immediately upon walking in I got greeted & they sat me down for my pedicure. I was impressed to see them sanitizing the used pedicure station.
I got a soak off, acrylic overlay with shellac, pedicure & free eyebrow wax. I was pleased with ALL of my services! Customer satisfaction is important here as well as great prices.

Riri (sp?) did a terrific job on my nails!!! Thoroughly satisfied with the customer service and she far exceeded my expectations. She did a fill and fixed THREE broken nails for me a price that can’t be beat anywhere else and I got a free eyebrow wax! This is my new nail salon!

Very clean atmosphere and friendly staff! Everyone spoke to me and answered questions about future nail designs that I would like done. You will not be disappointed!!!
