I needed a room last minute due to my car breaking down. I got a room with 2 double beds on a Sunday night for 79 $ before tax not bad. When I got to the room, it was bad. Mold on the window blinds and window frame, cracked front window, outdated furniture, I had a entertainment center with two missing doors, paneled walls, bed covering from circa 1970. There was only a sheet on the beds no blanket. The bathroom was pink tiled with glittery poodle wallpaper and tiles were coming off the wall near the floor. It was somewhat clean. After I got into the room someone from the office came to my door to tell me the television did not work and they were replacing it the next day. I asked to change rooms I was told there were no others. Funny just 7 minutes before I had a choice of a room with 1 bed or 2. And there were no refunds for me to get a room elsewhere. I made do for the night. Throughout the night my daughter and I listened to a guy and girl fighting over a knocked over trash barrel. I would not suggest a family book a vacation here. There are many other places to choose from. The places look nothing like the pictures you see on here that they have posted. Except the first one dark and dingy. Oh I forgot to mention age everything you see in the pic by a good ten years of wear and tear and then some

A great place to stay for the beach. Family friendly and the owner really cares about his guests being comfortable and happy. There is a really sweet young woman and young man working at the desk, who were very professional and accommodating. Clean place– convenience store right next door in case you need anything. Newer rooms are on the side opposite the pool– I would recommend spending a few extra dollars for the comfort of the kitchenette and extra space.

This place was great! They saved us when our motel, Westport Motel overbooked us after we paid and went to the beach. The manager Bill is great! He wouldn’t let us stay until we actually looked at a room first, which he makes everyone do. It has a heated pool under a little carport and close to the beach by H St. Rooms are clean, price very reasonable. This is now my place to stay. The only down side is the parking. We had to park in a parking lot three blocks down which was not a problem. You can park in parking lot at motel for extra $ 20 a night if you are willing to pay. Thanks Bill aka Buddy! Be cautious of this place. Several rooms have bedbugs and the place was never treated. Rooms are dirty, and out of date. Pool recently failed a State inspection. While I stayed there as a winter rental some people had their money stolen. So don’t leave your valuables laying around. There are much better places to stay. If you do go here make sure to bring bleach and Lysol. Some renters have to park 3 blocks away from the hotel. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Stay away. Place is a dump! Last time we stayed there we had bugs coming in through the air conditioner as it was not sealed and you could see outside. The owner is miserable and started screaming at me for asking if we could park our car when we arrived at 10am even though we couldn’t check in until 1:00pm. I will never go back again!
