Business Owner

Chandler Clark established Signature CanvasMakers in 2005. His career began while serving as a Senior Chief in the U.S. Navy in New Orleans, where he worked pro bono at a sail loft to gain experience in the marine canvas industry. Upon his return to Virginia and the civilian world, he partnered with an established canvas shop and further honed his skills. In January 2008, Chandler and his wife, Charlene opened their own shop in Hampton. In 2012, they relocated to a larger building and expanded their business to include a nautical retail store called «The Bay Scene».

Chandler is a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain. He is also an active member of the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA), Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) and the Virginia Carolina Canvas Products Association.
