I Heart Hanalei Beach Botique

Came in the store with my family to browse around before dinner and got mugged at by the associate the whole time. We were never greeted or anything, the associate girl also gave us the feeling as if my whole family and my boyfriend were going to steal. Weird little shop I definitely don’t recommend.

They give zero shits about the people buying their product. There are so many alternative local vendors worthy of your money, but not these guys. My husband and I went into this shop around 9 am on a Thursday. We were the only ones in the shop. We found a semi-​cool tshirt here and the only women’s sizes they had were XL. We asked if hey had any additional sizes and they indicated they just received an order and they were still in an unpacked box. We waited for some sort of «I’ll open it and check» but the woman seemed so uninterested in opening this single box. So I tried on a kids size of the same shirt and the women’s XL. I let her know it didn’t fit and she could’ve cared less. She did not give two shits about helping me find what I wanted. We asked her when the box would be unpacked and said «today». Digging for a more specific answer but obviously didn’t get one. My husband purchased his gear (painfully giving this awful woman money). We told her we would be back before our dinner reservations to give her time to unload the single box of shirts. More than a courteous timeframe if you ask me. At least 8 hours. We went back at 6 pm and when we asked about the shirts, we received the same answer. «They’re in a box.» THE WORST.

I came in looking for a swimsuit; acacia, to be exact. However, after trying on the top I’ve been really wanting, only to be severely disappointed with how it looked on me, the sales associate recommended the mikoh swimsuits.
I’m not well endowed in the upper region of my body, so the acacia suit made it look like I had super pokey nipples because of the way it was sewn and the lack of boobage I have to fill it out. After telling the sales associate this, she was so kind and showed me the beauty of the seamless mikoh swimsuits and said I was probably an XS, but I could always try on the S and see which one fit me better.
I’ve nonstop been wearing the suit I got here and am so thankful that the sales associate urged me to try this brand of swimsuit on! Yes, they carry expensive swimsuit brands, but what I’ve noticed is the quality; they’re top notch. I used to get swimsuits at target and now I’m prepared to dish out the money to get a suit that compliments my body AND that’ll last.

I went looking for a bathing suit but got super bad service. The older lady behind the counter was not friendly at all. There’s lots of other options and was disappointed at the unfriendly customer service.

I was extremely excited to check out this boutique after hearing their inventory included a bunch of my favorite brands (that are difficult to find, so I was ready to spend a lot of money), however my experience was very disappointing. It was so disappointing, if I could give it half a star I would (you get a little credit and rating to put you on the map for at least having good taste in swimwear). The sales associate, whom I’d hope isn’t an owner because her attitude and customer service, pardon my language… really sucked, was so rude! I understand a 6 item policy, as I have worked in retail before, but what I don’t understand is why I can’t continue to look around with 3 items in my hand? When I asked if I could place my items on the counter while I looked around she irritably asked/​told me to try on what I had in hand because if it got busy I would hold up the line. Instead of helping or accommodating a paying customer she lost my business because of her unprofessionalism. I would not go back here even if she sold the brands I love because customer satisfaction should always be a priority and you can’t fulfill that with a rude sales associate.

I love shopping here! They always have the best selection of bikinis and clothes. My go to store on the north shore. They also have a men’s section as well. Really friendly staff. Love love love. Thank you IHanalei!

I’ve always had a great shopping experience here and they have a ton of beautiful items, however… I’ve never purchased anything because it’s just so darn expensive!!!

I have been in this shop a couple of times, one of those times I purchased an acacia bikini. I came in yesterday in hopes of buying a new bikini from the new acacia line, but had a pretty sad experience from the moment I walked in the door.
No one greeted me. I smiled at the older woman behind the counter… (Owner?) and was given back a half smile. Still no, «hi! Can I help you with something?» I browsed through the bikinis, grabbed a couple of tops. As soon as I had something in my hand, the younger sales clerk followed me around the entire store. I went from browsing the bikinis to looking at the dresses (on the other side of the store) and was never asked once if I wanted any help thirty minutes later, just followed around treated as though I was going to walk right out of the store with the garments in hand.
I had one dress, two shorts, and a bikini top to try on and waited patiently at the dressing room door to be let in. Once the young sales clerk saw me waiting, I was FINALLY spoken to, only to be asked to give her my purse to keep behind the counter. I politely obliged, with a bit of annoyance. I tried on two things… And was just fed up after thinking about actually spending money in this place. I didn’t even bother with the two others. I got my purse and left annoyed with the lack of customer service and attentiveness and feeling like a 2^nd class citizen.
Such a shame too… Guess I’ll be getting my blu moon dresses and acacia swimwear online. At least there I know I’ll be treated with the respect I deserve.

They have the cutest bikinis. Great selection. Also love their Brazilian sports bra tops. Cute cuts and fit. Pricey for sure, but nothing too surprising given their product and location. I finally bought the Acacia bikini I’ve been wanting for months. In love.
Friendly, helpful staff. I tried on a million bikinis and they were really nice about the piles of bikinis I left for them. :) Love this shop.

My sister had heat rash on her arms and wanted to stop at every single shop on the north shore. This was the last of the night and I figured I would wander around while they spent ungodly amounts of money on things they wouldn’t be able to fit in their carry on anyways.
Anyways, cool little place. I grabbed some of the Sun Bum sun block stuff. My girlfriend grabbed a decently priced beach bag type thing. The girl was starting her close down about 30 minutes before close and said they if we paid with credit card, it wouldn’t mess up her count, we were cool with that. She wasn’t extremely helpful or talkative, but she was counting money, so whatever.
