Not worth the drive from Valpo. From what I heard and some reviews, I thought we might find a hidden gem. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We had«cinnamon raisin French toast» and Kentucky Benedict. The french toast was 2 pieces of thin white bread dusted with cinnamon and not a raisin to be found. Kentucky Benedict consisted of egg and sausage patty on an english muffin covered with sausage gravy. I have to admit I wasn’t hungry again until dinner. The dining room had holes in the walls, TVs haphazardly hung, electrical cords hung everywhere and no flooring. That’s right, the floor covering was removed and not all the adhesive was cleaned up for an interesting textured dirt appearance. And of course because everyone here knows everyone else, we were stared at throughout breakfast. I checked my fly and my wife’s blouse was buttoned so I guess they’re not used to strangers. Or they were thinking, we have to eat here but why would you?

The food was really good for a small town restaurant. I was really impressed. The quesadilla’s were really good.
