This rest area is right outside Albany so it! s useful for grabbing a quick bite to eat before reaching your destination. I chose Roy Rogers over Quiznos and in terms of speed I made the much better choice because my fiancé was still waiting for his sandwich when I finished my chicken tenders. It certainly helped my cause that Roy Rogers had most of its food pre-​made and just under heaters.
This rest area is limited in food choices but if you need coffee, a bathroom, and some sort of sustenance you’re in luck.
I give this stop 3 stars because driving up from the city my fiancé vetoed the two previous rest areas due to the food selections so that tells you about the slim pickings. I really had to use the bathroom too but he convinced me to hold it! Good thing he loves Quiznos (I have no idea why, ewww).
The store where you can stock up on Twizzlers and trashy magazines is also bigger than a lot of them.
