I have an iPhone 5s, and I was looking to upgrade. I’d done my research, I’d run my numbers, and I had decided, before I went to the store, that I wanted to get an iPhone 6s Plus. I knew what I wanted, so there shouldn’t have been a problem right? WRONG! I called before I went to verify that they had the phone I wanted in stock before I went in. So they knew I was coming. I got there and they have my information pulled up on the screen and they want to do a comparison of my upgrading with another 2 year contract or me using AT&T Next. I don’t want to use Next, I told you this on the phone. I just want to buy my phone and walk away. Long story short… The salesman were more like Used Car Salesman than phone salesman. I get that AT&T wants the sales agents to push AT&T Next, but when a customer says no, that should be the end of it. They were like bulldogs… and Next was the bone. I felt like I was being badgered into something I didn’t want. I started out with just one agent trying to sell me on Next and when it wasn’t working, he called in another guy. Needless to say, I decided to stick with my 5s and I left the store. I WON’T be going back. If you want to upgrade, and stick with a 2-year plan, you have until the end of November to go to an AT&T company store and make that happen. From what I have been told they aren’t doing the contract thing anymore after that point. Don’t let the sales agent sell you a bill of goods that you don’t want.

I have to review this location after stopping in yesterday to look into upgrading my phone. The two guys I spoke with were really helpful with lots of info on regarding which phone(s) would work best for what I wanted and within my budget. Very patient too, answered every question I had and told me about some things I had not thought of. No pressure either. They let me leave to mull things over. I will be back next week to buy from them. Such a pleasant experience. I like shopping when there isn’t any expectation that you will buy something. No pressure, no pushy sales people, just nice folks chatting.
