I had a really good experience getting my cartilage pierced. They were very quick, painless l, and informative! I would go there again if I were to get another piercing !

A friend and I wanted to get some piercings but our work didn’t get out until just after they stopped accepting walk-​in appointments. We had called earlier that day but hadn’t made an appointment, and decided to just give it a shot and called to see if they would still let us come in that evening. They were so gracious and saw us even though we ended up coming in about half an hour after they were closed for walk ins. Joey Prixx did both our piercings and he was awesome! He explained the piercing process and the after care very clearly, and was so friendly. We both paid about $ 70 for our piercings (I got my tragus done, she had her cartilage), but we chose the more expensive earrings. The cheapest ones were $ 50 – 60. Overall a really wonderful experience, I will definitely be going back!

Got pierced about a week or so ago with a friend and I have to say Joey prixx made us feel very comfortable and he was very nice to us.

By far best piercer goes to Joey. He makes your piecings quick and fun! I would say he is the best best best at dermals! I got one on my face and let me tell you… i love it! It did not hurt one bit (although I’m well with pain) it was about 3 seconds legit. He told me if how to prevent it from rejecting and how to make sure it stays in good condition! I also had my tongue done by him a few years ago and again it was very clean and fun! going back next week for a black and grey lion tat with my boyfriend for matching tattoos with Phil! Already had the consultation and can’t wait to see the outcome!

This past Saturday I had an appointment with Joey Prixx to get a nape piercing. The shop is located inside the Hanover Mall and is quite impressive. There is a sitting room and someone to greet you when you walk in.
Joey was awesome he explained the entire process for the piercing as well as after care and all the worse case scenarios and what to do if I run into any of them.
He was so thorough with the placement. I told him what I wanted and we worked together to figure out the best placement on my nape since I have long hair. He was also very thorough with the spacing between each piercing!
The process itself was semi painful. He cleaned it up and of course all the tools and what not were sanitized!
One of them had popped out and he was available very Facebook and I was able to come in and get it out back in. I am now 5 days post op and I feel good… And they look good!!!

I got my first tattoo here done by Keith. He’s very talented and the whole process went by smoothly. Some of the artists don’t spend enough time on other tattoos I’ve seen done. I also got my nose ring changed here (not by joey prixx) but he was super nice! Overall its a decent place.

Joey pierced my nipples and then was so nice and gave me a discount on my belly button! The staff there is so nice and SO funny! Everything was clean and they were very professional. I would completely suggest getting pierced there. It might seem sketchy since it’s in a mall but it is an amazing establishment.

I only go to Joey to get pierced, he is THE BEST. I have never met another piercer with his amount of dedication and passion toward what they do. He is SO sweet and willing to spend the time to figure out the perfect piercing for you and listen to exactly what you want. Most importantly, he is very CLEAN. And he gives you these super cute after care packs when you’re finished! Love him!

I got a tattoo here on my birthday, I wanted a white ink tattoo and most of the artists didn’t want to do it because they said it could fade right away and they didn’t want to take my money if my tattoo was going to be gone in two weeks. They didn’t want to do it for honest reasons. I convinced them i had my heart set on the tattoo and after a while the owner said he would do it. I had 4 friends with me and we were all having fun trying to convince the artists, everyone was friendly and there was no wait. I was there on a Tuesday night that might be why it wasn’t busy. The tattoo is pretty small and behind my ear and they charged me the shop minimum which is $ 65. The shop is cash only which I did not realize before i got there or after I got my tattoo done until i went to pay and they guy told me, glad i had enough cash on me! I’m very happy with the results and the tattoo is still there two months later. I’m going to go back to get my back dimples pierced hopefully within the next two weeks!

I got some work here done by Phil about a year ago here, a pretty massive tattoo of hermes on my back. Too this day it looks amazing, even more so then the ink I had done at one of the most reputable tattoo shops in Boston.
Granted, its a little weird being in a mall. But once you get past that it is no different then what your average shop looks like. Its clean, the tattoo areas are private and it just seems like a great group of people who work there.
I am going to be returning at some point in the near future. Will be going back to Phil, I definitely recommend him, his black and grey work is top notch and he is a super cool/​laid back dude.

I just got my septum done by Joey Prixx… He is amazing and knows what he is doing!

I just showed up here tonight ar 6:00 and was turned away for a tattoo because Phil was doing a piece that «would take the rest of the evening.» They’re open until 9. Don’t say you accept walkins if people drive all the way down here for no reason! Won’t be coming back.

I’ve gotten two big tattoos here, both done by Keith White. He is an amazing artist and really did an excellent job. The shop is clean and comfortable, and even though it’s in the mall, you aren’t on display for all the people walking by, each tattoo area is blocked off tastefully so you have privacy. All the artists in this shop do amazing work which gives it a wide range of styles that can be done. Trust me, if you go here to get your first or your fifteenth tattoo, you won’t be disappointed!

Okay, so this shop is in a mall. That just makes it more accessible, and let’s face it, our entire lives are going to be in malls eventually so suck it up and check this place out. The staff at this shop are as professional and welcoming as it gets. The artists are both clean and talented. I was lucky enough to have been tattooed by Keith a few weeks ago and I could not be happier with my newest addition. Keith free-​hand drew the piece onto my leg and made adjustments as necessary or requested. Now let’s be real here; getting tattooed hurts and it’s not the most pleasant experience in the world but Keith was a lot of fun to work with and made the best of the situation. I would absolutely go back not only to Keith but to any artist at this shop and I highly recommend that you do the same.

I got my first tattoo here! I was not really nervous because of the relaxing atmosphere. The place was really clean and the artists were really friendly. I had Sweets design and do my tattoo. I could not be happier with the work I had done. The design is eye popping and the lines are very precise and exact. I had a very professional experience and am loving it. I highly suggest this shop.

just had a piercing done at squids. joey is a total sweetheart, and he and his apprentice made me feel completely comfortable. the piercing came out great. was relatively painless. and they made sure to explain proper after care. will definately be going back :) the shop is immaculate. the people are very cool and all so friendly. i manage another store in the mall and have several tattoos and have a real appreciation for great artwork and on several occasions someone has come into my store after having work done at squids and i’ve seen some really impressive artwork… check them out!!!

I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo and had researched several places when I came upon Squids Ink Tattoo & Piercing Studio in The Hanover Mall. When I entered I was greeted nicely and was able to get a quote on the tattoo I wanted and booked with Keith. On the day I got the tattoo I was impressed with how clean and nice everyone was from reception to the tattoo artists. The tattoo I got didn’t hurt and the artist Keith did an excellent job. Upon leaving and walking through the mall I got several compliments. Check out their website and definitely check them out.
