Nice and secluded in some areas. Beautiful beach and scenery. Definitely a go to spot.

I enjoy coming to this place alone or with family. Nice sandy beach to walk along when the tide is down and great place for a picnic and to lounge out in the sun on those sunny day’s. The down side is the limited parking area, but if you don’t mind a short walk you can park around the bend just before the beach/lighthouse where there is a boat access area.

This is one of my favorite beaches in the area. There’s sand! It’s a great place to swim, walk, have a picnic, or just lounge in the sun. I love the driftwood structures and how they are different every time, the sound of the birds in the adjacent wetlands, and watching the sun set behind the Olympic mountain range. It can become pretty crowded, especially during the summer, and parking is limited. However, the southern part of the beach tends to be a lot more secluded. Just be sure to watch the tide if you decide to venture to the southern part of the beach or be a strong swimmer. You can also rent the lighthouse keeper’s quarters and stay overnight! How cool is that? Very cool.

One of my favorite places to go with the family. We have always been there when it wasn’t crowded, so parking wasn’t an issue. Amazing views! The girls love collecting shells, building sand castles, and flying their kites. There are these cool driftwood huts that various people have built. Twice now we have seen seals playing very close to shore for at least 45 minutes at a time. The dogs love it here, definitely a great place for a picnic!

I love this place. It has a nice long beach, a small lighthouse, and views of Whidby Island, Mt. Rainier and boat traffic. Not much nearby parking so on nice days try to get there early.
