I loved this campus. First of all, it is very tiny so you will get to know everyone and the class sizes are smaller. All of my teachers at this location were wonderful and beyond helpful. I graduated with a degree in public relations so half of my classes were here and the other half were uptown. Another awesome thing about this campus is the parking is plentiful and free so you could arrive 5 minutes before class park and walk in. The area is easy to get to from uptown via Earhart and if you have a break between classes you are in Elmwood so you can either shop or grab a bite to eat from the many options nearby. This campus does not have a library, but does have a small computer lab and study areas. They offered flexible class times so it’s perfect for someone who works full time as I did my entire time I was at Tulane.

Nestled in a non-descript corporate park that reminds me of everything the movie American Beauty was reminding us was evil. The reason Tulane has chosen this spot as the location for its School of Continued Studies is beyond me. The only thing I can imagine is that it was cheap… PROS: — Small campus means we ALL know each other. — Really great services, spaces, study nooks and eating areas for students. — Great selection of courses available on this campus which aren’t offered at the Uptown campus including many design and applied computing classes. — Awesome office staff. The ladies of the Elmwood campus are incredibly helpful, sweet and FUNNY! CONS: — If you are a pedestrian this campus is a monster to get to. — No shuttle support by Tulane to this campus.
