Being treated as a patient can almost feel like a journey. Starting from the doctor, then pharmacy, and those occasions when your insurance does not want to cover your meds and that «free trial» coupon that you’ve received from your doctor refuses to go through. It can seem like a nightmare throwing any possible obsticle your way «usually being dollar signs $$$$» and this is all in the hopes of you feeling better. For me this has been that. But even so I was fortunate too work with one of the pharmacy technicians at this walgreens, she has really gone above and beyond for me. Hermenia (I hope that’s right) has been amazing!!! Seriously she has been very attentive and caring. And being in that line of work I know it can be stressful for most but she really knows how to take what would be a stressful situation and flip it to where you as a patient would feel like you’re in good hand, which I 100% do. I haven’t been to a Walgreen’s in years but because of Hermenia’s attentiveness and compassion I will happily be taking all my services to this location. Again so sorry if I misspelled her name. But anyone would know who this person is regardless. ;)

Store seems fine, products I usually don’t complain over. But the customer service for some of the workers are terrible. I asked a simple question on whether they had a product in stock, not even asking them to check their back stock, and the woman working had so much attitude in her voice.
I work in retail, I get it. Some days you’re just not in the mood. But that doesn’t give her the excuse to talk to me as if I was interrupting her conversation with another coworker. Came here to look for something for a friend and I will gladly never be back.

Overall not bad, however, the cashier attendant lady (older Caucasian lady) needs to do a better job when it come to customer service.
Her facial expressions made it seem like she wasn’t having a great day. I pay for my items and stand there waiting to have it bagged… stand there and looks at me to say «yeah, I don’t think you want to spend .10 cents for a bag» I told her,” yes, I don’t think so, but I’m wondering why my items are just left in the counter, so never mind!
Write a sign or Have attendants communicate this so we aren’t standing around wondering why it’s not being bagged SMH!

I was just here 10 mins ago. I came in looking for a foundation (make up) that ive been looking for. And in less than 3 mins i was already accused stealing. Is that how you guys treat your customers? Im sorry but i dont steal. I will not be coming in this store again.

So bad. I come here to pick up my daughter meds and they been there before all the information has been in putted even after the update, still they got nothing and I had to pay for her meds tomorrow I’ll come back for my refund and they better give it back !!

Horrible, horrible service. I had surgery and called in my prescription. Not only did they put me on hold for over 10 minutes but then hung up on me and had me wait on hold again for another 10 minutes to finally speech to a RUDE pharmacy assistant. I decided to NOT have my prescription filled here because of the horrible service. They are SO RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I will never come here for anything ever again. Save yourself a trip and go to Von’s or CVS where they are not RUDE!

I came to buy a bulk of chocolates for a Christmas present for my students but when I got to checkout, the manager for tonight didn’t allow me to purchase a set because she said there’s a limit to every buyer. However, there was NO notice posted to buyers. Not fair and the manager just was NOT accommodating at all. I had ordered 20 – 30 sets of it for the past 2 years and now the rule is different. I quipped, really? She sarcastically responded, REALLY! Not a good demeanor for a manager. So I just mentioned that I will just put it aside and go to other Walgreens Store. The manager looked around and later realized that there were a surplus of the product and so she decided to let me buy. But for the fact that she was not accommodating at first, she just doesn’t deserve my goodwill of buying that item anymore. Nor will I ever be back in this store (unless she will have a change of heart). Thank you to the lady cashier who took my order at the counter. She even tried to find me a box for my stuff. Sadly, I will not be in your store for now. It’s a relief to know that there are other store branches.

This location had real problems with their sales prices not matching the price at the register.
Big hassle getting the lower price. Get more organized, please

I go here for all the basic things I need and Always great service !! Especially the girl in cosmetics is so nice and helpful!
Update: so there’s this lady that is extremely slow but so nice. It’ll be obvious if she checks you out and MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RECIPT! She charged me twice on a few items and told me to bring the items I was charged twice for so she can scan it, even though she can punch it in manually. As she was doing so, she did not apologize but instead began to sound irritated and repeatedly told me «you should have brought the items» I did get my money back and even I apologized.

I walked in only to find no baskets, so I walked out and grabbed one from the lot… only to find the wheels were locked, so I dragged it in & asked Roseanne to unlock it. I thanked her, smiled, moved on. I then proceeded to fill my cart with a big package of bed pads & adult undergarments. I round the corner & acknowledge the manager, then look at Roseanne as I’m ready to check out.
Roseanne is in front of the cash register, but I forgot candy. So, I turn down the candy aisle only to look up & find Roseanne had walked down to my aisle and is literally staring me down. She didn’t even smile or play it off when I stared back. She was sending a clear message — «I’m watching you.» I guess she thought she was intimidating me.
I was wearing shorts & a tee-​shirt w/​large items in my bag & a shopping list. I even spoke to her when I entered. She felt so powerless that she needed to patrol me around $ 1 candy bars. The irony is, she looks far more suspect than I do. I’m a 42yo black guy — the only black guy in the store, from what I saw. I took time off to get my 91yo dad some undergarments & candy and I’m being harassed from some powerless, maybe jealous, lady who couldn’t even afford my mortgage.
I’m not the kind of guy to cry ‘racism’ whenever things are unpleasant. I know blacks might commit more crime. I get that, but if a guy in shorts & tee who greeted the workers & was shopping for adult undergarments is suspect, then who isn’t? Harassing customers is wrong no matter my race. I just can’t figure why she felt the need to patrol & intimidate me.
When I took it to her manager, she suddenly couldn’t look me in the face. When I demanded an apology, she wasn’t so dominant (as you can see in the photo). I eventually reported her to corporate. The manager was very professional, fair & pleasant, however.
So, between the unavailable/​locked shopping carts & wannabe intimidation, I can’t say I’d recommend this place, but insignificant Roseanne won’t keep me away. I’ll be back whenever I please & make sure I say hello to Roseanne to put her in line before she decides to buck up. …and all because I wanted to get some undergarments & candy for my dad. Silly woman.

Roseanne and Jim are very helpful … I love my local walgreens!!!

I came in here with my hubby on the way to a friend’s house. We stopped to get beer (because we are good guests and come with something — lol). The beer case was actually LOCKED! You have to get someone who works here to help you otherwise you can’t buy the beer! Although the guy that helped my hubby was very nice. He explained that on the weekends it’s locked up all day, but on the weekdays, they only lock it up after 6pm.
BTW — If you don’t have a Walgreens card, you should sign up for one. We saved TEN DOLLARS off the price of our 12 pk by signing up first.
Drive Thru pharmacy and photo services are inside.

I usually go through their drive through for prescriptions because they text you when it’s ready for you. Otherwise, they didn’t have much of a selection of alcoholic beverages or toys here. I guess, now I know to just come here for the drive through :|

This Walgreens is visited daily by my wife. If you ever run into her she will help find anything in the store. BTW she is not an employee.
For a big chain the people make it feel like a small shop that’s been a part of the community forever.
I was on the phone with my wife the other day as she guided me to the exact location of the coffee creamer she had to have. I did not see in the fridge, but the manager over heard my conversation, went into the back and brought out the correct bottle. Exceptional service!
If your lucky you will walk into the store and Jim will be at the register. He will immediately greet you when you walk in. Regardless of how busy he is, he always takes the time to say hello. Then when you check out he will offer you whatever sweets are on sale. I don’t think any of this is required from the employees. Jim is just that polite.
If Jim is not there Roseanne might be at the register. She is really quite, but she has this smile that tells you she appreciates your business.
The apartments nearby do make the outside undesirable, and can sometimes makes its way inside. But what can you do? It is the community the store is in.
The pharmacy has given us problems in the past, so we just stopped getting prescriptions filled there. The rest of the store makes up for the pharmacy, and that’s why they get 5 stars.

Its just your average run of the mill walgreens… I went in looking for something specific and they didnt have it. Not their fault I was looking for a specific fabric softener, but what is their fault is the mess they have everywhere! Seriously, stuff all over the floor, things just thrown everywhere! No thanks. Come here if you dare!

I called my perscription refill in. They said it would be ready in 1 hour. I got there and had to wait for two others in line in front of me for 5 – 7 mins, but it was ready when I got up to the register!

Dirty store. All the people that live in apartments around here use their lot to park their cars overnight. They should put a huge fence around Walgreen’s at night so no one does any illegal overnight parking!

The Walgreens on Lomita and Western is a disappointment. I’ve tried a number of times to fulfill my prescription there because its close to my home and its a big chain. But what has typically happened is that the clerks have blundered repeatedly and I’ve taken my order elsewhere.
What typically happens is that I drop off the Dr.‘s note through the drive through. (Although I usually turn off my engine at some point). They tell me to come back in an hour or so. But when I come back thats when they inform me there has been some problem. It is extremely frustrating that they don’t call and inform their customers before the customer wastes the extra trip.
Secondly they seem to be unorganized. One time after deciding to overlook the double trip I returned for the third time and they couldn’t find my order! Two or three clerks were busily pulling out each alphabetized bin searching for it. It was ridiculous.
I’m waiting a second day for them to call me to pick up my order– they’re waiting for a fax from my son’s pediatrician. I should have stuck with Vons at the Torrance Crossroads. They would have had it ready on the spot or while I shop.

This store usually has a good supply of stock in store. It isn’t always easy to find someone to help you but they do greet you when you make it to the front of the line.
