Absolutely my favorite place to go for breakfast/​lunch. Everything is fresh and delicious! I’ve always had wonderful service as well… Definitely worth a shot if you’re in the area :)

You have to get here early if you want your super fresh bagels and or choice because they sell out. Love the bakery breads! Mmmmm zucchini and pumpkin bread. Lunch bagel sandwiches also very tasty. Regular coffee was also good. Finally a roasted coffee like good old Washington state.

Best Deli that I have been to since leaving New York.
Lox bagel and cream cheese is a must try and have.
Friendly staff that is well versed in proper customer service.

I am addicted to chia latte and cinnamon raisin bagels with cream cheese. The staff is nice and they remember you after a few times. They have a rewards system. Check them out if you enjoy a good bagel in a quiet setting.

We just ate here and it was amazing! I got an everything bagel with the crumbled bacon and scallion cream cheese, my fiancées brother got an Asiago cheese bagel with half strawberry cream cheese half chocolate chip cream cheese (great options, but I question his personal taste), and my fiancée got a cheesecake. All were delicious! The service was a little slow considering the place was almost empty but we had plenty of time so it wasn’t a problem.
We also really liked the atmosphere. It was a laid back environment and I would love to see them expand sometime and have a location with couches and live music. For now though the current location is great! The staff is super friendly too! Very helpful and courteous! We also liked that the coffee cups are the Dixie cups certified by the sustainable forestry initiative (which means they don’t use old growth forests as a source) and the plastic cups for the (delicious) Italian ice are made from post consumer recycled plastic!
All in all this place was amazing and I can’t wait to go back already!

Amazing service every time! Cinnamon rolls and poppy seed muffins are crazy good and the hungry man sandwich is my favorite indulgent menu item, although the Lox sandwich is my all time favorite. The bagels are the better than ones I’ve had in New York (or anywhere) and there other treats are always tasty and I love trying new muffins and cookies whenever I go. As for the entire café it is always nice and tidy and I have never had to question there cleanliness. The biggest issue is trying to find a sit because they get really busy sometimes but it’s worth the wait for a to-​go order!

This place has such great bagels and such a variety of the food you can get. If you like plain bagels with spread you can get many flavors in each bagel and spread. If you want a bagel that is more complex with egg and sausage, they got you. You want hime good bake goods… they got you… also a great variety of coffee and juices A MUST TRY IN THIS AREA

Bite the Bagel in Harker Heights Texas. Where else can you get a fresh homemade authentic Bagel that is served but such great friendly people!
Love the Bagels, homemade sub rolls, pizza dough (upon request). Great baked goods! Cannelloni fresh made. Muffins and cinnamon rolls. Awesome place awesome food.

I heard about Bite the Bagel from a friend when I first moved to Killeen a couple months ago, so I decided to give them a try. I was so happy to find out they have bacon/​scallion cream cheese because I haven’t found any place that sells it here in Texas since I moved from the east coast! Their bagels are fresh, the zucchini bread is amazing, and I love the staff! (The pretty lady at the front makes an amazing almond joy iced coffee). Bite the bagel is definitely a family friendly place, and I will surely be back as a regular :)

The Hungry man is Excellent! I want to try something else, but every time I go, I get the Hungry Man! Keep up the good work!

First and foremost, let me mention how incredibly nice the owner is. Too many times have I walked into a family-​owned business where the owners look defeated… not here. Jim takes great pride in his business. It’s clean, the food is so good… I mean, he served us fresh baked bread with butter and it was seriously the best. I had the Reuben bagel and my husband had the club sandwich bagel. And the cheesecake. Oh my goodness. My husband and I didn’t talk to each other the entire time we were eating because it was so. damn. good. I’m going to be thinking about it my entire life.
I’m seriously impressed and so happy to see a locally owned business of this level thrive in this area. I will be a returning customer!

Very good! It’s a quiet little bakery and deli full of deliciousness. It is hard to decide what to get because there are so many choices! The first time I had their bagels was at my bridal shower, I was impressed with the size they make them and still am. I ordered a poppy bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese with an iced coffee and I am happily satisfied!

My absolute favorite bagel sandwich is the Lox and Cream Cheese! Best place in Harker Heights for a bagel! Owner is an Army Veteran and I will support everything he does. Love it 5 stars!!!

My new favorite order: salt bagel with both jalapeño cream cheese & bacon and chive cream cheese with turkey. Love this place for both breakfast and lunch!
