Rooms To Go

Normally I buy all my furniture from Furniture Row because the quality and customer service is great. My daughter wanted a bedroom set and she really liked the Merlot Daybed and Chest so we decided to purchase the set. Make sure you understand you can only get a refund for purchase withing 48 hours and afterwards there is a warranty that will cover your furniture for one year. Anyway, so we received out delivery on time, our stuff was on the back of a pick up truck instead of a delivery truck but I assumed maybe these guys are contract, and they put everything together. A little rough, but not too bad. After the two men left, I checked the drawers of the chest and they wouldn’t pull out all the way. So I immediately called customer service and they sent someone out to do repairs or to see if it needed to be replaced. This took about a week, which was fine. The gentleman who came to the house fixed all the drawers, he said screws were loose causing them to get stuck. I give the furniture 3 stars but I gave an extra store for customer service. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing furniture from here if you are looking for long lasting furniture. If you want something cute and willing to see it around for the short term, than this is the place to go.

Do not buy! This has been the most horrible experience ever when purchasing furniture! First, we ordered beds from the kids department and then wanted living room and game room furniture only to discover there would be an additional $ 100 delivery fee on top of the 100 we had to pay for the kids stuff because rooms to go kids and rooms to go are separate! Even if they are on the same truck we would have to pay double the delivery. Insane! So delivery day came. Friday 12^th… no headboard for the bed. they came back Monday the 15^th but now no rails! Then after they start putting up what they had, the bed was damaged! No hooks for the ladder and a slice of wood chipped from it, scuffs on headboards and the corner of one looked like a used cardboard box! I call customer service, they will send a replacement next friday the 26^th! Thats 2 weeks that my special needs child will not sleep in a bed??? Then she says they will put me on an add on list if they have room available. Thats bs! We should be priority because its not OUR fault the beds came messed up! Not only that, but they took a chunk out of our wall! I am highly upset. Im sure they want their money though! I will never use them again. Ashleys is where we usually go so thats what i get for trying something new. Beware!

Great customer service prices not bad. They offer financing and they have sales on closeouts. Purchased a living room set today. They charge 20% down if you have them hold it. I’m waiting on closing on a house so didn’t want to but it outright. Very friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to adding the purchase to the new house.

Spent fifteen minutes sauntering through the store and not a single sales person approached us. Normally I expect at least a friendly hello from a place like this — instead every sales person looked past us like we were invisible. I got the impression they judged us when we walked in and decided we weren’t going to be a huge sale. We came for a dresser, a desk, and a crib. The only desk was a kids’ art desk. There was only one crib in the entire place. And we had to squint at fine print to determine the price for the dressers by themselves instead of in a set. All in all it was a disappointing experience. Doesn’t matter how clean or classy your establishment is — if you don’t treat potential customers well.

Military families beware!
Please beware when purchasing furniture from Rooms to Go with warranty. I purchased a full living room set and master bedroom set. They convinced me to purchase extra warranty for my sets. To which I made sure I asked, what if I move out of the state (since we are a military family)? They insured me Rooms to go are in a lot of states and even if they aren’t, they would hire a 3^rd party to fix any warranty issue. Sure enough moved out of state and gave them a call to see about an issue to be told my warranty isn’t covered in my new state. Basically purchased extra warranty for nothing and was lied to by the sales rep. Please be aware and consider if you are moving not to waste money on warranties. I do love their furniture designs but sad i was lied to. I understand if i didn’t ask about moving and warranty policy, but i made sure i asked since i knew i was moving soon.
They also damaged my wall when delivering the furniture and was a pain to get reimbursed to fix the damages.

So after 3 months of waiting for my love seat I ordered I’m sapost to get today… I have no idea what time it is! They told me they would call and give me a window and that’s great but never got it. Been up sense 6am it is now 5:21pm and my spouse works nights and he is afraid we will miss the delivery truck so he tried to stay awake thinking they would call or something… Nope now he goes to work in 20 minutes with hardly any sleep. I’ll let you all know what happens if I ever get my Love seat
