Meet the Business Owner
Tom H.
Business Owner
Tom is the founder and chief operator of Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws Inc. Tom’s experience spans decades of animal care.
As far back as he can remember, Tom has always had fish. He can recall having up to 21 tanks at a time as a young boy. He has had experience in breeding and raising rabbits, canaries, parakeets, guinea pigs and various kinds of fish.
In an effort to further his education, he became a certified Animal Health Technician in 1982. After obtaining his certification, he worked several years in the field mastering his gift for working with animals.
The store was opened in 1985 in a small 1200 sq ft store in a strip mall. Then in 1992 moved to our current location in our 5000 sq ft building. In 2010 we added a second location at the Quakertown Farmers Market, 15 miles from the original store.
Overall he is the go to guy when no one else knows the answer. Always willing to help, if he does not know he will say so but try to find an answer.
