Peggy is a wonderful host, and her home is beautiful. Great location, very comfortable set up, very easy going vibe. Had a wonderful time and a delicious breakfast. Walked to Harpers Ferry easily, and had a great run on the C&O canal the next morning. Very clean room, comfortable sheets and bed, and plush towels. Thanks Peggy!

I recently had an absolutely fantastic stay at West Ridge Hollow B&B. The innkeepers, Peggy & Jay, were wonderful. They were full of good tips and advice, pleasant to talk with, and served a delicious fresh breakfast. My stay in the Nest Room, with a beautiful view of the woods, was cozy and restful. This B&B is close to town but in a park-​like setting– quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be back later in the fall to see the beautiful changing of colors.

This was not what i was expecting. It fits more under the «Air BnB» category than an actual BnB as it’s a room in someone’s house you stay in. And you feel accordingly — like you’re someone’s guest and may be imposing a bit. We waited for half an hour outside only to be told we could have just gone in, we didn’t need a key to our room or anything.
The house is nice, though not historical or otherwise special. The room was clean and decorated with fun, bright colors. The couple that hosted us were also perfectly pleasant.

Clean, quite but vastly overpriced at $ 145 a night. Future customers should know this is not a business but rather a room to rent in someone’s house. The couple was nice but this reminded me of staying at a friends parents house where you were not sure if they wanted you there or you were putting them out with your presence. While breakfast was included it was more like they would whip something up for you than they had things already out and you could come down at your leisure.
Wish I had known this before our stay, hope this helps future travelers!

It was easy to reserve a room. Private, clean and comfortable. Very quiet and relaxing. Fantastic breakfast with fresh fruit.
WIFI access, newspaper, frig, beautiful views and easy to find!
