PhoneDr started out of customer frustrations when they came in to local cell phone stores with broken phones. They had two options either file a claim with insurance company and pay the high deductible or purchase a phone at retail cost ranging from $ 300 to $ 700.

As of December 18, 2015, PhoneDr is being re-​branded to Fix Ur Crack.

I have been in the cell phone industry for over 8 years, and I have seen the customer frustration when they come in with broken phones, and have no choice but to purchase new phones at retail cost, which is over $ 400. So I started PhoneDr to help customers find a low cost way out.
