The Netrepid owned and operated Data Center is located in Harrisburg, PA. This carrier grade Tier-​3 quality data center provides redundant internet, cooling, power, and security. The facility maintains an annual SSAE-​16 audit to ensure all current security measures are met.

History

Established in 2004.

Netrepid was founded in 2004 in Central Pennsylvania primarily as a wireless networking and tower construction company. As time evolved there were more and more requirements to get deeper into the IT space beyond simply connecting wireless access points and microwave radios. This evolution led to a series of acquisitions as Netrepid found itself becoming more of an IT Services company. In 2009, Netrepid acquired Pennsylvania Online. This provided the start of an established data center, call center, and support teams. Netrepid has added those capabilities with other acquisitions.

Business Owner

Sam Coyl is the President/​CEO of Netrepid, a provider of enterprise-​class technology solutions including cloud services, colocation, data backup and infrastructure management. Since founding Netrepid in 2004, Sam has taken the company from being a wireless technology provider to an enterprise IT firm, successfully acquired three other technology companies, and completed projects for nationally-​recognized companies like Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, BAE Systems, and Geisinger Health.

A former US Marine with 9 years of service, Sam has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s top executives under 40 and serves as a board member and advisor for education and business incubators. His 18 years of experience in wireless technology has also been recognized by Certified Wireless Network Professional, which has tapped him as a technical editor for its certification study guides on multiple occasions. He is also a contributor to ‘The Price Of Business,’ a Houston business talk radio show.
