You will not be disappointed, with everything. It is all quality and delicious. I don’t speak until I finish my sandwiches from here. It’s a well known fact when I do this, this is something special.

I love it. I always get the chicken with lettuce and onions on a roll when I go. Perfecto every time. I can’t get enough. It is very nice inside and it has good prices so I mean, it’s the thing. I’d go every weekend if I were you. You, should go.

Great Italian sandwiches with a healthy variety of breads, meats, and toppings. Very cozy salumeria setting with the gelato and cannoli being the first things you see after walking through the front door. Young and energetic staff(college-aged) is very friendly as well. As for the food, here’s what I’ve had: Bella Antonella Domestic prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers Chicken Alla Nonna Chicken cultlet, ham, melted fresh mozzarella Gelato Pistachio Hazelnut The mozzarella is spectacular here — milk white, creamy, and not overly salty at all! Hats off to the proteins as well, prosciutto is just right and melts in your mouth! The chicken cutlet is no joke either, not excessively breaded nor soggy like you might find at lesser Italian sandwich shops. I definitely recommend both sandwiches and I will be back for more! As for the gelato, they’re decent but not as good as the ones you would find in the gelaterias in NYC.(e.g. Grom/Amorino)

Two words. Chicken cutlet! Best deli hands down. The rolls are amazing and fresh along with everything else they have. Prices are so reasonable and the customer service it’s top notch. The staff is so friendly and the place is so clean! I highly recommend Casa.

If you live to eat great food then it’s a must go to eat! My wife and 4 kids went there 7.11.15 after we read the write up in the NYT’s! If anything it was downplayed in the article… The staff were all very friendly, fun and helpful! They won us as regulars! The Inferno is in my top 3 favorite sandwiches I’ve eaten in my life! The gelato brought me back in Rome… I could go on and on… They got it covered: Quality and great service!!! Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given! BH

They take their sandwiches seriously. They have clearly given thought to each and every ingredient on their sandwiches, down to the bread. Not your stereotypical deli roll here. Each ingredient is carefully placed inside with care. The finished product is a work of art. Thoroughly impressed with Casa D’italia, down to the friendly staff and speedy service. Go-to lunch spot.

Although food is good, the staff here is very rude and obnoxious. I have never seen them smile. Will not go back.

Great local spot for sandwiches made with a variety of tasty deli meats. Order from the numerous named sandwiches on their menu or create your own. Many different breads to choose from. They also have a hot food section with well-prepared, healthier fare. Quality products used for everything. Have been going here for at least 6 years and haven’t had anything to complain about. OK, so they may run out of your favorite variety or potato chips from time to time but that may be about it. The staff are mostly young, college-age kids but they are efficient and do their job well. Most of them speak at least conversational Italian which they love to put to use. Lots of regulars go here and the banter from the staff can be amusing at times. If you’re new, you may find it a little bracing but it’s all good-natured in my opinion. They may not be overly«smiley» and engaging toward everyone but I’d rather have good food than good chit chat anyway, especially when you’re trying to get back to work. The owners are always there and they make sure your experience is satisfactory. Lunchtime can be pretty busy as several local residents and workers queue up. After 12pm, be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes to place your order. Whether you’re placing a sandwich order or want food from the hot trays, you’ll need to wait in the same line.

If you are anywhere near Harrison and need a sandwich this is THE place to go. Amazing Italian deli with an out of this world staff! The coffee is exceptionally made and they use a delicious roast. Sometimes I’ll stop in and grab a snack for later or grab two for a long road trip. I have yet to try the hot food selection, but every time I’m there it looks and smells incredible. The sandwiches are huge and very reasonably priced. Don’t miss out on this fantastic culinary gem. Once you try it you’ll be dreaming of the next opportunity to indulge.

Been coming here for 10 years now. Simple, well prepared and delicious Italian sandwiches. From the great bread to fresh salumi to smoked mozz to perfectly cooked condiments, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t order their specialty sandwiches. Here are some of my favorites that I have tried: Simple Taste: Don Tommaso: Fried Eggplant, domestic prosciutto, and fresh mozz The Husky Special: Chicken Cutlet, fresh mozz, and roasted red peppers Nicky’s Surprise: Chicken Cutlet, broccoli rabe, melted fresh mozz Mature Taste: Michelangelo: Imported Prosciutto, fresh mozz, broccoli rabe, and roasted red peppers Bronx Tale(easily my favorite because it melds all flavors and textures): Chicken cutlet, pesto, sundried peppers, fresh mozz and hot capicollo

What… an…AH-mazing…sandwich! I’m typing this review one handed and munching on the Chicken alla Nonna hero in the other. I have to devour it all, it is just so tasty! At first I didn’t think it would be very good and a little pricey. A chicken cutlet sandwich with mozzarella & ham was not making me shake in my boots. After my first bite, the clouds parted, the sunbeam shone down and I was addicted! The chicken was seasoned oh-so-right, the fresh mozzarella is melt-in-your-mouth gooey goodness and the ham right there to accentuate the chicken and complement the cheese. After several bites, I noticed there was no dressing or sauce and the chicken’s moistness was carrying the whole sandwich. The crusty fresh bread just made it more incredible. Can’t wait to try every sandwich on the menu!

Great Food, Great Service, Great Espresso… need I say more? I have been going to Casa for years and they NEVER disappoint me. The food is always fresh, and the Fresh Mozz melts in your mouth. Come summer time, they have great HOMEMADE Gelato. Check out all the different sandwich combos, and there homemade pesto adds a great kick to your sandwich. Enjoy!!!

So so so so amazing. I usually get the nicky special which has chicken cutlet, brocolli cutlet, and mozzarella cheese and it never disappoints. Probably one of the better Italian delis around here that’s consistently great every time. They also sell gelato, pastries, coffee, and italian snacks as well.
