Established in 2008, we provide quick, efficient and low-​cost moving labor help to the Tri-​State area (NY, NJ, South/​Mid CT) and Northeastern PA (Philadelphia and Poconos areas). Our team is built of reliable and experienced part-​timers and day laborers (some currently unemployed, some moonlighters some students, or any combination of the above) who are dedicated to ensuring that your moving experience is virtually seamless. Every move is done with your time, care and pockets in mind. We will make sure that your move is completed efficiently and cost-​effectively. And why wouldn’t we? Our clients are our voice. And a job well done speaks in volume!

Business Owner

Reginald started working as a moving laborer in 2007 part time with other companies to make some extra money to supplement his income. Throughout the process, he noticed that moving labor is an art and that it is one that needs to be perfected. Most moving companies have such a bad reputation and it was time to create a change.

With over a decade of experience in corporate customer care and starting off with a team of 2 – 3 other part time guys, he created what is now Movers-​For-​A-​Cause, Moving Labor & Custom Relocation Services, a generalized, customer care focused and oriented company set on doing the best job for a great price. Starting off working with a couple of agencies, Reginald and his team built a company which stands strong in the industry with a strong focus on efficiency, hard work, customer service, smiles and laughs. Every move is done with our customer in mind, as quickly and efficiently as possible, while making it as enjoyable of a process as moving can possibly be!
