I wish we could give 3.5 stars, but alas. The service was actually impeccable. They were bubbly, thorough and informative. The new menu is really nice. I’m a sucker for Fried Green Tomatoes and their take on them with their BBQ sauce was a pleasant surprise. Their queso tater tots were to die for. Seriously, get them. My Cajun pasta was very good, could add a hint of citrus. My boyfriend’s spicy chicken sandwich was decent as well. Their loaded baked potato was wonderful, but when do those ever fall short of delicious? The atmosphere and renovation was done up very well. The service was quick. Nothing went wrong and nothing was bad. They could improve their flavor on a couple dishes, but it was definitely worth the price!

We have a toddler that doesn’t like to sit quietly so we like to carry-out. Thought we would give this place another try but again it was disappointing! First off, when ordering carry-out expect to wait longer than the time given. Hence, this part of the review. Was told 20 minutes. Got there after 25 minutes and had to wait another 25 minutes because our food wasn’t ready. Great. Paid and brought food home. Start to open everything and the food is all over seasoned and over cooked. I order he kids grilled chicken for my toddler and there was so much blackened seasoning that it wasn’t even edible. Why do you even put blackened seasoning on a kids meal?!? My other child got the kids steak with what was supposed to be smashed potatoes but looked a lot more like French fries. The steak I asked to be cooked medium, the middle may have been medium but the outside was black and charred. So much so that my 10 year old wouldn’t touch it and he isn’t a picky eater. My husband ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich, the bun was black and burned and the chicken was so over fried that it was hardly edible. Another disappointing visit. I keep waking to give this place another try but everytime I do I’m disappointed all over again.

Food: I love the fresh complimentary rolls. It’s so warm and good. My husband and I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, sampler platter and Cajun pasta. The artichoke dip was tasty. We demolished the dip. The sampler platter came with chicken tenders, fried cheese and potato skins. The fried cheese was good. The Cajun pasta was creamy with big chunks of peppers and chicken. The serving size is HUGE! My husband and I took half our meal home. We also washed the food down with their homemade strawberry lemonade and Kentucky Mai Tai. Price: The spinach artichoke dip was $ 5 since we ordered it before 7pm.(They have happy house of certain appetizers for $ 5). The sampler platter was over $ 10 and the pasta was around $ 11. Service: Great service! The staff was friendly. Fresh rolls came out right away. Our waitress apologized for not having our drinks out sooner. She refilled our drinks at a timely manner and brought out food quick. Overall, this is a great restaurant for lunch, dinner, or just drinks and an appetizer. They have a large screen at the bar playing a college football game. The bar area is small but it’s enough.

We went here after spending all a day at Franklin County Antique Tractor Show. Hannah, I think, was our waitress & I give her 5 stars. The restaurant was busy, as for any Saturday night, but wait wasn’t very long.

I will start by saying anyone who complains about a restaurant because they have a wait to get in is missing the point. If people are waiting to get into the restaurant chances are it’s pretty good. Now, having said that, the wait to get served is rather long at this restaurant. I’ve never had an excessively long wait for the waitress to arrive however once you place your order it does seem like it takes longer than most chain restaurants. However the food is always been consistently good so I am willing to trade off a little bit of time for freshly cooked food. Service is always been fine for us. There’s really nothing spectacular to set this apart from other O’Charley’s but that’s kind of the point of chain restaurants. You know what you will get no matter which one you go to. Overall it’s as good as any other O’Charley’s I’ve tried.

We’re not typically fans of chains, but this O’Charley’s was good. Our server was attentive and great with refills. The French dip and Southern Pecan chicken salad were both very good. Would repeat when in Harrison.

Was there 2÷7÷2015 for lunch at noon. Not busy at all for Saturday lunch but service was poor, management was poor and food was decent. Manager stood and chatted with a table of construction workers she knew as the rest of the restaurant was receiving horrible service. A mother with 3 children was seated and then ignored for 15 minutes until it was brought to the managers attention. Won’t be going back.

Decent food, average prices. There isn’t anything extraordinary about this place, but expect a wait, as it is one of the only restaurants that is family friendly and serves alcohol in Harrison. I’ve always had friendly servers, but they skimp on the butter that comes with the free rolls.

I’ll start by being honest: I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants, I just haven’t always had spectacular experiences with them. That being said, I really do enjoy this particular O’Charley’s restaurant. I’ve always had great meals when eating here. Most recently, the staff were amazing in accommodating my extended family of 25 people for lunch when another restaurant(I’m looking at you Cracker Barrel) proved to be pathetically incompetent. The service was both friendly and quick. We were seated, given rolls and drinks really fast. The food came in a reasonable amount of time, considering how many of us there were and how busy it was. My steak was delicious, as usual. My husbands ribs were great, and my aunt raved about her salmon. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about their food. This is a great restaurant and that’s why we keep going back.

I’ve eaten at several area O’Chuck’s, and this one being closest to my humble abode gets the frequent treatment. The food is pretty decent — typical Americana chain fare. I can’t really recall anything horrific that jumps out at me. In fact, it’s all pretty good. I think it’s a bit on the expensive side for what it is though. But the place does exceptionally well, especially in Harrison, where it’s considered«fine dining» by the locals who flock to the place on the weekends. I can’t ever recall getting any bad service.

I was surprised that I had not heard of this small chain of restaurants with over 230 locations in 20 states. After all, I spend alot of my time eating in restaurants around the country. O’Charley’s was an obvious choice on a recent trip I took as this location was new, clean and had many cars in the lot even at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon(my sign for a good place to eat in small towns) The menu is varied– like a cross between a Friday’s and an Applebees. Wide list of appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, salads and desserts. There is a full bar and a full bar menu with more of the«signature drinks». Portion sizes are huge so plan accordingly. We ordered one of their appetizers which were Southwestern Twisted chips. This one plate could have easily served 6 people! We also had a burger(good) and their prime rib pasta dish which was also too large a portion to finish. It fell down a little in service(how many times do we have to ask for a glass of water?) and in the fact that the restroom was lacking the basic necessities of toilet paper and paper towels. But this place is popular with the locals. When we left? The foyer was packed with people waiting to get a table. Not sure if that is because they love the place so much or if it is one of the few places to eat in this town. Either way– if you find yourself on I-74 and Ring Road looking for a bite to eat– for brunch, lunch or dinner, O’Charleys serves up consistent fare.
