This is my favorite Japanese store in town. If your going to want to go any where, it’s here. This place serves ultimate quality sushi and Japanese food, it’s off the charts. The parking may lack but hey, if you want to go to a good place why stop because of no parking? The people are very nice they treat you like your mom has not seen you in 100 years. Me and my friends love to go there and get some things, then hang. The cucumber rolls and Japanese soda is what I get. I’m a little on the picky side. So if your rolling on around town, come here and see the nice décor. But don’t forget to eat!

I love Oishinbo! Really great selection of authentic Japanese snacks, candies, fresh vegetables, meat, frozen foods, drinks, personal items, and home goods. Conveniently located across from the train station in Harrison. The people working in the store are really friendly and helpful! I always stop by for lunch bentos, and hurry because they sell out fairly quickly. They now sell sushi platters, which I am eager to try.

I love this place. I’m not sure if I could have survived without this place to be quite honest with you. It’s like an oasis in the desert for me, since i need my Asian food fix from now and then. I just pick up some Pocari sweat, Japanese pastry, onigiri and etc whenever I get hungry. It’s awesome.

What a find! Such a nice little Japanese grocery store tucked away in the neighborhood here. This place has ingredients for cooks who want to venture out beyond ramen and sushi. Making miso soup? Get your dried anchovies here for your niboshi dashi, or Japanese stock. Making Nobu-style miso black cod? Get your mirin and miso paste here. They also have a video section for those who know nihongo. It’s amazing how much they packed into this little store. The store is nice and clean, no strong fishy smell. The fresh fish looks fresh, though the sushi grade fish probably could probably be better. Great place for those who don’t want to trek out to the Mitsuwa in Edgewater.

Located across from the Harrison train station, Oishinbo is a treasure chest full of goodies for the large Japanese community that reside in the area. It is a tiny shop, yet the shelves are packed with the essentials of a Japanese grocery store. Like many other Japanese grocery stores in Westchester, Oishinbo carries Parisienne Bakery baked goods, which are phenomenal. I had to deduct one star from this place because the owner is known to be a little nosy. He might ask you personal questions that you might feel are inappropriate.
