I go to Harrison on occasion for business and it has become standard that we eat here while in town. I didn’t have super high expectations for a sushi place in the area, but I was really surprised at how good it is. I always go with the west Cali roll and a couple other rolls. This last time we threw in a sweet potato roll and I can’t remember the 3rd, but they were all great. The price here is incredible, too. The 3 rolls combined were $ 17. That would barely get your 1 roll at a lot of places. I’ve also done a hibachi meal a couple of the times, on top of sushi, and the hibachi is excellent as well. For the food, I’d give them a 5 star. The problem is the service. I’m generally patient with servers, and they’re never the best here, but our server last time was awful. We all spent most of the time with empty drinks, he couldn’t understand anything we said, and when our check finally came, it was wrong. Granted, it was wrong in our favor, but we had to sit there forever before he came back so we could have him add the items he missed, and then had to wait again to pay. Anyway, definitely worth the frustration for the great food.

The chief was so funny! Food was great. The place was very clean! Great service! Wow who would think that there would be such a Japanese restaurant in Wester Arkansas.

Hit or miss. I think that they’ve gone down hill a bit since opening. The hibachi is always great. Huge portions, good food. But, not everyone has the time or patience to do hibachi every single visit. When ordering hibachi in the actual restraunt, the portions are smaller, the food is bland, & it’s still the same price. Their sushi is ok. It’s nice to have a little such in Harrison, but it’s not out of this world. They tend to cut the pieces a little to large for the ‘one bite’ method which is how sushi is supposed to be enjoyed. The wait staff is also hit or miss. We’ve gone one day & had over the moon great service, & then we’re virtually ignored the next. The wait staff also seems oblivious when asked questions also out the food. Especially the rolls.

We had our Anniversary Dinner there tonight. Steak and lobster was fabulous. It was a bit loud, but you have to expect that with a hibachi meal. Service was good. Chef was lots of fun, and waitress understood English well enough to make this dining experience one that we can’t wait to repeat.

Delicious food, really low prices, and a great hibachi show. Highly recommended. I’ve eaten at plenty of Japanese steakhouses, and this was by far the best. Two thumbs way up!

All but the rice, dumplings and the wine selection, is outstanding. Filet mignon was the best hibachi I’ve had in the US — forget AR. Lovely staff but, perhaps, not overly organized. Absolutely worth planning a dinner for here

Food is good for Harrison. If it were in a larger town, I would probably never eat there, but it is probably the best Asian food in Harrison. The hibachi food was a little bland. The sushi was ok but no really unique choices, only the standard rolls. If in Harrison craving Asian food here is fine, if you are looking for big city quality Asian food no luck in this town.

The service was excellent. I really enjoyed my west Cali roll and fried rice but my shrimp tempura roll was lacking. I’m not sure but it kind of tastes like it had been sitting out. The west Cali roll tasted freshly made I will definitely try this place again. Next time we will try the hibachi side :)

Wow, a very nice surprise in small town in nothern Arkansas. The Bento Box selections were a great recommendation from the wait staff. The hibachi grill patrons were also having a great time and I will visit on my next stay in the area.

I’ve eaten here several times and this was the first disappointing experience. I ordered the special roll and it was covered with a peanut sauce which was awful. I’m pretty sure the peanut butter they used is turning. Miso soup had slightly more flavor than water. I will come back and make sure that this was an aberration and not a trend.

My wife and I ate at the hibachi side. The food was very good and the chef put on a good show. We’ll definitely go back.

I returned for lunch with my aunt and uncle. They have very strict diets and our server, Hailey was very knowledgable and patient in helping my relatives make their choice of steamed mixed vegetables. I selected three regular rolls. All were good. — spicy tuna, crunch and California rolls. We ended the meal with fried bananas, with whipped cream and a Cherry. Very good. I highly recommend this restaurant ! Good food, atmosphere and service. Thank you, Hailey !

Horrible service. The waiter needed to be told to bring chopsticks, which at a hibachi, should be on the table already. After he took our sushi order he ran off without taking other people’s sushi orders. The sushi arrived before our sake. And when the sake arrived, he brought one cup when there were two of us. During the meal he was mostly absent and the food was subpar. The tuna sushi was not high grade and tasted bland and freezer fresh. After the meal I wanted to treat my friend to mochi and the server again failed us by not understanding after repeating it twice and finally bring out a menu so we could point at it. It took 15 minutes for it to arrived, supposedly due to «plating» issues. We talked to the manager who didn’t really care when my friend spoke to them, but only acknowledge our complaints after I sternly told her of our service issues and that I would be writing a review on it. I would recommend that if you truly want hibachi or sushi, drive farther to a better restaurant. The one star goes to our hibachi chef who was enjoyable to watch and engaged the table thoroughly through the courses.

Food was pretty good. Rice was awesome, vegetables had way too much butter on them and they were cooked to death. Steak and shrimp was over cooked. Scallops were fantastic and chicken was just ok. Salad was great with an awesome ginger dressing. You get a ton of food so be prepared to eat a lot or take home a ton of leftovers.

Great food and great service. My family and I go there almost once a week. The sushi tastes great and is a great value. The only thing I haven’t tried yet is the hibachi but it always sounds like they are having fun so we are planning to visit there soon. The servers have all be very helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend to others.

Went there fore lunch April 14, 2014. It was a FANTASTIC lunch. Ate at the hibachi grill and food was great. I truly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Harrison for this welcome change.

We went on opening night so it was a little hectic but the service was really good. It is a sushi bar and hibachi grill, we ate several different rolls and they were all delicious.
