Solid coffee shop, especially because it’s close to Memorial where all my classes are.

Super accommodating — past 12 and cashier double checked on whether there were any more eggs to make me a breakfast burrito :] which are the bomb here. Ordered the daybreak burrito this time around. Yes you wait a few minutes for your food, but that’s a good thing. It means it’s hot and someone made it just then just for you. Sister got a sandwich on Gluten free bread here is actually good, doesn’t ruin the sandwich if that’s what you need.

Really nice, small business community vibe, drive through, great coffee. The outdoor seating is nice, but traffic noise is a conversation killer. They feature lots of specials and handle their beverages with care and artistry. The people working there are very friendly. I am a custom food orderer, which subjects me to some annoyed stares at larger chains. These folks put together my sandwich exactly the way I order it every time with a smile.

I stopped here on business for a iced triple latte and the turkey sandwich. The iced latte was average but the sandwich they prepared for me was a fantastic lunch. I would definitely come back here for a deli sandwich again.

To expensive for what it is coffee and food alike. Their house blend is awful. The baristas are nice but somewhat incompetent. Would not recommend unless you’re desperate or don’t mind taking out a small loan for coffee and a pastry. Also there isn’t much parking unless you’re a JMU student. And they will give you a ticket for parking in a JMU spot and they’re not cheap.

Unilocal says open until 9:30. Went in at 9:05, guy behind counter(beard) said they were closed and was a complete a$$. If your door is open, then serve customers! I will never go back! Went to SBUX!

Meh — I’m a coffeholic and this coffee wasn’t that good. The mocha I got was weak yet bitter. Husband’s drink was the same.

I want to love Greenberry’s, I really do. It’s right down the street from me. But it’s just OK. Allow me to lay it out for you: Pros: nice staff, the free wi-fi, good study/meeting place, decent coffee, tasty daybreak breakfast burrito, drive-thru window, lots of community flyers to see what’s going on in town. Disappointments: takes a while to get said burrito, pastries often gone by 9am, croissants look good but if you want them heated you have to microwave them, no simple syrup for iced coffees(a sign, I believe, of a legit coffee shop), the half and half is usually empty and the counter to add cream and sugar is always a mess(they’re super busy, but there also doesn’t seem to be a simple way to get to the counter either), only plastic straws for stirrers… Truth be told, there are few good coffee joints in the ‘burg, so Greenberry’s will do. But, let’s give Court Square Coffee, Organic Grounds and the coffee truck a try before giving Greenberry’s the Best of the Valley another year.

The beauty of Greenberry’s is how consistent it is. While completing grad school at JMU, I frequented this coffee stop as a means to get off campus and as a means to get caffeinated. Their coffee/lattes are delicious and their help is generally sweet, savvy and efficient. I always appreciated the free wi-fi and the array of food available. Love & miss this place a bunch!

Had two great breakfasts here while visiting my sister, who goes to JMU. It seemed like a pretty casual, chill atmosphere that would be a great place to study or just to hang out with a friend. The coffee, in my opinion, was excellent. I was especially happy that they added the flavored syrup to my drinks without over-doing it. Now that I know that there is one near where I live, I’ll be checking out that location, too.

Very much liked the service, the baked-on-premises croissant and my mega latte but since when do the independent places call their drinks tall, grande and supremo? Thanks for a strong wifi to download yesterday’s This American Life. Here I come, Tuscaloosa!

With a smidgen of reluctance(chain coffee shops really spook me), I’m going to have to admit that this is the most decent coffee in town with the exception of Blue Nile. Fantastic overpriced organic cookies and the usual café bakery fare. Chai and soy to be had. Free wireless and consistently poor radio selection — but isn’t that why God made headphones? I find this to be a valuable study spot because it is so free from visual distraction. In other words, the insipid clientele, décor and general vibe will leave you with naught but your imagination/concentration to reign unchallenged.

Great place to study — A nice place to get a fancy coffee or tea drink and sit for a while with a good book(or a lot of homework). I’ve had some very productive times here, which is not always a given with a coffee shop!

Good coffee and latte drinks. The prices are reasonable and cheaper than other coffee chains. And the location is convenient when I am in Harrisonburg and Dayton. I did not realize there was a location in Northern Virginia, so I will have to try that one as well!
