Skip was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia in 1996, and the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia in 1997. He practices before the U.S. District Courts of the Western District of Virginia and the U.S. Districts of the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. He has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the West Virginia State Bar, the Harrisonburg-​Rockingham County Bar, and the Staunton/​Augusta County Bar Association. He has lectured to the public on Personal Injury, Social Security and Medical Coding topics. Most recently, he lectured at National College in Harrisonburg and a medico-​legal seminar in Winchester, Virginia. His seminar covered important topics and coding issues. He has been an approved vendor for American Academy of Professional Coders. Several local health care providers found the medico-​legal seminar in Winchester, Virginia helpful.
