It’s almost impossible to write this review without taking the adjacent convent into consideration. The park itself is nice, albeit limited. There is some nice green spaces, walking trails and a greenhouse. During the spring & summer there is a beautiful flower garden at the entrance. Directly adjacent to the park is a convent. The park and much of the convent grounds are one in the same. In fact you must go through the convent to exit. The convent grounds are beautifully manicured and has great, open green space for picnics or ball playing. I almost want to give this park 1 star just to keep people from coming here!

This is a great park with several trails of varying length set on a huge forested property along with a couple of open, hilly fields and of course the convent which sits on the property. Mostly flat, unpaved trailways although one of them has a very steep climb at the end(you can always double back if necessary). There is a barn here with a produce garden and lots of flowering plants. They have seasonal events here every now and then. It’s fun to come throughout the year and see what is growing. The park is dog friendly, though they must remain leashed. I almost didn’t want to add this to Unilocal,as I don’t want it to get flooded with more people since its mostly empty throughout the year.
