History

Established in 2011.

Owner/​operator John Speegle replaced his daughters iPhone screen after an unfortunate break. After which, he came to the assumption that not everyone would have the time or the patience to do these types of repairs themselves. With that iRepair & iCustomize was born. Mr. Speegle, with the help of his son Chase Speegle, hired a few friends (one being myself, David Ruggiero) to help operate and expand. With the backing and support of every pleased customer we assisted, expand we did! There are now 5 locations in 3 different counties.

I have loved taking things apart to understand how they worked ever since I gained the necessary motor skills to do so. My parents were not as thrilled, as every toy they bought me was soon after, torn apart and not quite reassembled the same. However, I continued to disassemble things because I was learning, and eventually I was pretty good at it. Later I decided to go to ITT-​Tech to further my education and better understand how electronics work. In June of 2104 I graduated from ITT-​Technical Institute, and received my Associate of Applied Science Degree of Electrical Engineering Technology.

Not long after that, iRepair & iCustomize got the call to open a store in Hartville, Ohio. I couldn’t pass up the chance to open another store. This is where I am today.
