My family’s go-to Chinese takeout. Great customer service and by far my favorite crab rangoon!

Me and a friend stopped by for a quick bite and we shared the honey chicken-entrée, crab rangoon and a couple eggrolls. The food was all excellent and if that wasn’t enough to set it apart they also offered better customer service than any other restaurant of this style that I have experienced. It has a friendly atmosphere and the workers go out of their way to build relationships and make their customers feel special.

Just ordered take out from here w/my dad and his friends. I had the hot & spicy shrimp with pork fried rice. Which they packed up separately. It came with baby shrimp drowned in sauce. 2 pcs of green onions, mushrooms and a lot of bamboo shoots. Which made it taste sweet rather than spicy… The price is a bit more expensive than compared to Chinese fast food restaurants in nyc. Wouldn’t ever come again.

Very good chinese take out. They use chicken breast meat for their sweet and sour chicken. It’s nice to be able to eat it without the fatty parts you’d get with thigh meat. Eggrolls are tasty and fried rice is good with some added soy sauce.

General tso’s had no flavor. The rice was stale and barely had any vegetables. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly breading. The sweet and sour sauce was good. The egg rolls were soggy. I was very dissapointed.

This place consistently turns out the best Chinese take-out there is. There are some tables available for dine-in, but most people use it for take-out. We have never had a bad experience here. They have great egg rolls that I love to dip in their duck sauce, and I like their fried rice doused liberally with soy sauce. They provide good-sized portions and we like to get their combo meals, which include entrée, rice, and egg roll. My son, who is currently in Germany, dreams about this place. We recently got this food twice when he was home for a short period of time. Gotta tell ya what to get – we fell in love with the sesame chicken, and just about can’t think of ordering any thing else. Food is usually ready in no more than 10 minutes after you place the order. Highly recommend.

When I moved to Hartville I was afraid it would be hard to find a good Chinese restaurant. Every time I move to a new area it usually takes a lot of trial and error to find the best local Chinese restaurant. I really got lucky with this place as it is the only one in the area and coincidentally also happens to be very good. The staff is always very friendly. Who would have thought, good Chinese food in Hartville, the Land of Gravy and bonnets.

it’s good — dont get me wrong, but its take out Chinese… the most you can give takeout Chinese should be 3 stars — unless your standards are incredibly low. but it really is a nice place with great food… but it’s not my idea of a 5 star experience.

Fast food, friendly service, great general tso’s chicken & egg rolls! Not great atmosphere, so I wouldn’t want to ‘dine-in’, but if you order it ‘to go’, you can’t go wrong.

The best Chinese food I have ever had and I have tried a lot of Chinese restaurants all over the country and the best part about this place is that it is right down the road from me. My wife got me started with their Sweet and Sour chicken but have moved to their two best dishes their Sesame Seed Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken. Also the quality of the food is met by the quality of the staff which is run by Joey who after about two orders can tell who you are over the phone and complete your order before you finish your sentence. This is a must for anyone who like Chinese and is visiting the little town of Hartville.

Fast service, reliably good food and good prices. Nothing fancy. Never ate inside, always take-out.

For the Chinese takeout category, this is the best I have ever had. I have been to many other similar restaurants and for some reason none compare. I have tried General Tso’s chicken so many different places. Lucky Star’s has the perfect flavor and crispiness to it. The sauce they use is very good. Another thing I like here are the egg rolls. Most I have tried are soggy and not crisp. The egg rolls here are the best I have ever had. Very crispy and fresh. I usually dip them in duck sauce. I also enjoy their fried rice, which I feel should be basically the same everywhere. Maybe its how good the rest of the food is that make me feel like even the rice is better than most I have tried. I always look forward to coming here when I’m in the mood for Chinese. I agree with the others, Joey is the man! He always makes me feel welcome, often asking about family members that also eat here. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Lucky Star has the best wonton soup! We get it by the quart. We also order from here when we know that teenagers will be invading our house. We get party size orders of sweet n sour chicken, fried rice, lo mein and egg rolls. When it’s just our family we call and Joey says«You want usual?» We say«Yes» and he tells us how long til we can pick it up.

I get General Tso’s chicken at a lot of Chinese places. I know it’s probably not authentic Chinese food but I love General Tso’s so I continue to get it all the time. They definitely make one of the best General Tso’s I’ve had. They also have great egg rolls. I love the customer service there. Joey is the man. He knows everybody who comes in there. My friend called in an order and Joey recognized the number and asked if he wanted the usual before my friend even had a chance to talk. This is in my mind the best place to eat in Hartville.

…my favorite place to eat in Hartville. I hate Hartville because you can’t get any booze and I have to work here. However, they make their egg rolls by hand. I’ve seen it and they’re excellent. Joey rules.

I love chinese food, and this place hands down has the best wonton soup of anywhere I’ve ever tried. You can get a quart for $ 3 and that’s a meal in itself. I lived in Florida for a few years and would dream about wonton soup from here. Their General Tsos chicken is AMAZING better than anywhere else. I don’t usually get it because it’s VERY bad for you. Their healthy menu is great too. Very fresh. The owner Joey is hilarious and he learns your face very quickly, as I became addicted for a few months a short time ago. Once they forgot my rice and I had to go back and they gave me $ 2 gift certificate for my trouble. I do wish they had brown steamed rice. Maybe soon, until then I am definitely content with the wonton soup!
