Chase Bank

I like this Chase branch!
I stopped in here today just to do some good old fashioned banking and the woman I dealt with was really nice and helpful. The line moved quickly and there was a teller at every window. My usual Chase branch has everything automated now, so it was nice to actually talk to someone one on one and get done what I needed to get done.

Omg, where do I begin, what started out as a simple transfer from our Chase Business account to our Chase Checking has become a nightmare… It was 7 days the money was not put into our account. The worse part of this whole fiasco was that NOBODY from Chase bank could tell us why it happened or where our money was… We are still waiting for our money to appear and for the correct response as to why it happened… Horrible way to handle our hard earned money!

This is the «neighborhood bank» for my Mom & I.
Upon entering, you will always be greeted by the wonderful, happy staff members. The place is very clean and organized. The parking lot usually always has spaces open. There’s also a drive-​thru ATM. There’s a regular ATM by the entrance but it isn’t inside the bank. so that’s kinda scary at night (I’m used to it being indoors cause of the ones in SF). :P
The service at the window usually consist of 2 – 4 people (usually women) and can be slow at times. depending when you go. I visit NOLA probably once or twice a year so I can’t really judge my experiences but these experiences are coming from my mom. My mom is Chinese and she has a language barrier with the staff but they’re always trying their best to accommodate her. Most of them know her as a business owner nearby and they’re always welcoming because she comes here frequently.
There are many cubicles inside with bankers assisting you and they sometimes seem busy. To schedule a meeting/​appointment with them, you have to sign your name on the clipboard at the front where the door greeter usually is. My mom usually goes to them for wiring money internationally and she says that sometimes the customer service is a hit/​miss because there was one man that messed up her wiring. She was sending money to China and one of the banker ended up taking money FROM the other company… (big mistake right there!), My mom’s favorite bankers are usually Adil and Ian. :)

I’ve been to this bank twice and the service is tremendously slow. You wait in line for far too long and then once you get to a teller, they easily become distracted with their coworkers or anything else beside yourself and your tapping fingers.
Besides THAT– there is always ample parking, there is usually someone at the exit that tells you to have a good day or thanks you for choosing Chase. Also, be careful when pulling out of the parking lot as to not pull into oncoming traffic-there’s a median dividing one lane from the other – OOPS!
