History

Established in 2013.

At its core, Wisp is a family technology company. Our aim is to offer repairs for computers, cell phones, tablets, and other devices; custom computer consultations and building; direct sales of phone parts; and consumer education for emerging and established technologies. Starting as just a dream in 2012, in under a year’s time Wisp has recruited dedicated professionals from various fields of expertise: business and technology, computer/​IT repair, data management, consumer handheld electronics repair, education, and relational science. Though all of the co-​owners come from different backgrounds, we all share one common vision: integrity and transparency before profit. Wisp is more than the sum of its parts, it’s a philosophy.

Hello, my name is Gamble!

For a large majority of my life I have grown up in and around the beautiful city of New Orleans. I’ve bounced around the area, having lived in Mandeville, then Luling, and, for the past 7 years, have called NOLA my home.

My family has always been nerdy. My grandfathers on both sides were tinkerers, tech guys, and small business owners. From a boy I was addicted to electronics and by 12 I had built my first computer. To this day I spend hours keeping up with the latest technology from cell phones to cameras to computer hardware and all the fun stuff in between. I’ll be around to provide suggestions in any budget for all your technology needs.
