Second Glance is an upscale thrift shop featuring almost new clothing, jewelry, linens, books and household treasures.

History

Established in 2007.

In the Fall of 2006, The Family Pantry of Cape Cod was inundated with clothing donations. After several unsuccessful attempts to place some of these items with other Cape non-​profits, it was suggested that the Pantry open a Thrift Shop. As they say, the rest is history. In typical Pantry fashion approximately 20 volunteers set to work on the task of establishing an upscale Thrift Shop, one to rival all others. After many hours of hard work, Second Glance Thrift Shop opened in a small store front on Cross Street in Harwich Port on February 21, 2007. Opening day was a great success and the Shop has enjoyed steady growth ever since. In 2011 the Shop moved to its current location at 563 Main Street. The number of volunteers has grown to over 60, allowing the Shop to be open more days as well as more hours. Second Glance Thrift Shop has created a reliable, growing revenue stream for the Pantry.
