Mimi’s VIP Salon & Boutique

Paid $ 70 for a puppy cut… ripped off! Won’t be going back — only tried them since they are close. Never again — have to leave your dog there for at least four hours, so the pups have to sit in cages waiting to be groomed? How about you learn to schedule? Ugh and my dog didn’t look like he was trimmed. While I will say he smelled lovely — I expected a grooming — not a bath and spritz of perfume!

I have taken my dog there since he was a few months old. He’s now 3 years old. I’ve always noticed how my dog comes back scratching and hitting his head on the carpet/​rug to scratch his head. I just noticed that he comes back INFESTED with FLEAS! I have multiple friends that also take there dogs here and I’ve noticed there dog also comes back with fleas. They recently had a client that came in complaining about the fleas and they agreed to pay for their dogs flea treatment. They do not clean the cages that they put the dog in. This is a violation of the Heath code. They also over book many appointments. You arrive to their store and you see so many dogs in cages and on the floor and on the table. They are also extremely over price!!!

We took our 2 Dachshund’s here for the first time and boy oh boy did they LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
Mimi said that the dogs had to be groomed together and that they made due with their circumstances of not liking to be alone. Not only did they make sure our dogs were truly comfortable by keeping them together but they did a FANTASTIC job grooming them! They look so adorable and alot more comfortable now! We will DEFINITELY be coming back for all our grooming needs. Highly recommended, extremely friendly, adaptive and the best experience in grooming we have every had! I would give it 10 stars if I could! :) :)

Today was my first time bringing my dog here and what a wonderful experience it was. The workers are super nice, all the dogs were so happy and most importantly, my dog got the cutest cut ever! I love the puppy cut and Mimi’s did such an amazing job. This is going to be my grooming go to place from now on.

Mimi’s VIP is the best! They do such an amazing job and take good care of my little Bijon Poodle mix when he is getting a haircut. His nails get clipped and gets a wonderful bath. When I pick him up he smells wonderful. Mimi is the nicest owner! They are all so friendly and they love dogs. My little one loves going there too which is a plus! I have referred a lot of people to Mimi’s VIP. If you haven’t tried this place I highly suggest taking your furry one there. They also have a great store front with toys, treats, shampoos and outfits! All your shopping needs in one store that is clean and smells great! It is always beautifully decorated for the holidays!

Excellent!!! Brought my princess Buffy (Lhasa apso) here for years Mimi did a fabulous job on her she looked gorgeous. Just had her done for the last time before I moved. I will have to win the lottery so I can fly Mimi out. Hands down THE best groomer EVER. My heart aches knowing I’ll have to find someone new and knowing no one can/​will compare to her level of expertise. It’s so hard to find a good groomer. But I can tell you this no one will be Mimi. She cut Buffy’s hair exactly how I want it. I took a million pics to show someone new. We miss you Mimi. If your looking for the best look no further.

When I first walked into Mimi’s, she stopped doing what she was doing (grooming a dog) and came out from her back room to greet me. This was so important and stuck out in my mind. I have quoted plenty of dog groomers and most of them don’t stop grooming the dog they are with while they answer my questions. She answered all my questions with her undivided attention and a month later I brought my Sheltie in for her first visit. I drive out of my way, over 25 minutes, past a multitude of groomers, to bring my dog to Mimi! I couldn’t be happier or more pleased with the service and quality of their craft.

I am overly protective of my three dogs and I felt at total ease leaving them in Mimi’s hands. First off the place smells so good! Most grooming places smell like wet dog and there is dog hair all over the place, but you won’t find that here.
My dogs seemed happy and at ease when I handed them over to her. It was not a factory of mass production at this groomer. She gives each dog her undivided attention. I have three mini dacschunds and each one had different problems with their coat. She tailored the service to each of their needs.
When I went to pick them up they looked and smelled AMAZING. I couldn’t stop smelling them. She uses top of the line products because my dogs smelled great for days!!! She gave my long hair doxie a perfect and precise cut, as my dog’s hair was a unshapely mess prior to our visit.
They also had great dog products, treats and clothing. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a professional caring groomer.

Great groomer. Very personable and really cares about pets. Totally trust her work. Very professional. Pricing is reasonable. Excellent work. Only issue is that getting an appointment here is very difficult. I guess Mimi is the only groomer, not sure… but I have tried three times to get appointments and have failed… so that is disappointing. If I could get in again, I would gladly take my dog there. I’m assuming her work is so wonderful, it is a waiting list to get in.
What I did not like is that when I call to make an appointment, they spend the time searching my dogs records – and THEN they tell me there isn’t anything avail. I have a small dog that is used to grooming, so I’m not sure what that’s about.
