Not Too Shabby specializes in Painted Vintage Furniture. In addition to the «Shabby Chic» style, we offer many different finishes. We use all types of paints and glazes. from Chalk Paint, to latex paint… to metallic and lacquer paint. We can customize a paint color and finish for your home on any of our pieces… or you can bring us one of your own. In addition to furniture painting, we also refinish (strip/​stain/​varnish). We offer custom upholstery and custom window treatments /​pillows. If we don’t have the piece you are looking for we will find it for you!!! If you can’t come in during our normal business hours, we will gladly do evenings or Sundays by appointment!

History

Established in 2007.

At Not Too Shabby, we feel old furniture is amazing. It has beautiful lines and details that today’s furniture just doesn’t have. We re-​use, re-​cycle, and lovingly restore vintage furniture to give it a new life. Vintage furniture makes the perfect accent to any home décor, business, or office setting (and often is a great conversation piece for guests and friends!) Whether you call it «Shabby Chic» or «Cottage Chic», our finished products make beautiful and functional pieces of furniture.

Custom work is our specialty. Bring in your own furniture or choose from a large selection of our unfinished pieces. Check out our «transformations» section to see what is possible!

After a long and successful 31 year career in the Fashion Industry I took a leap of faith and went into business for myself. With no prior experience in owning my own business… I opened Not Too Shabby in May of 2007. I have to say that I work harder now than ever before and have NEVER been happier!
