Wonderland Smoke Shop

Best smoke shop in Jersey, hands down. That goes for all the Wonderland locations. We’ve been avid glass collectors for almost 5 years. I’ve easily bought over $ 7,000 worth of glass here in he last few years. This place is our go-​to for the BEST pieces at the absolute BEST prices. Don’t expect just RooR pieces and Chinese glass. Pyrology, GravLab, Sheldon Black, Illadelph, one-​of-​a-​kind glass… This place is top notch and always STOCKED. I always see new glass every time I set foot in the door. They always have the very latest glass and everyone that works there is incredibly knowledgeable. We keep trying different smoke shops as far as south Jersey, Upstate New York, and Staten Island, and no one comes close. Um, and can you say INTEREST FREE LAYAWAY?! Who can say no?! Stop wasting your time at other smoke shops in the area. No one compares. Do your research.

I’m pretty disgusted by my experiences here, and do not recommend anyone wasting their time or money at this place.
If you don’t read any further, at least know this: I recommend visiting «the inner eye» on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair for a clean, enjoyable, and professional experience.
I’ve visited this shop a few times in need of a few things while visiting from out of town. My first experience wasn’t so* bad. I walked in on a busy night with about 8 people inside. I knew exactly what I wanted and where to find it so I wasted no time and hung out at the area in front of the item I needed, waiting to be acknowledged by the one and only female worker. It took a few minutes but she saw i was waiting and said she would be with me in a few minutes. Fair enough. I patiently waited while she helped the two, indecisive, groups of kids before me. Twenty-​five minutes later, I was finally approached and she was ready to help. They actually didn’t have the exact item I had wanted, so I settled for something a little different, and was on my wAy.
A week later i was back in for the same piece because the one I had just bought, broke (my fault). I only returned out of convenience and the simple fact that the female worker had told me that the piece i wanted on my first visit would be in later in the week, so I assumed they would really have what i was looking for this time. I called to make sure, and then went on to pick it up. When I walked in the shop, it smelled so badly of cigarette smoke, and to my surprise, the female worker was sitting on the couch casually smoking a cigarette! This time, no one else was in the shop and she approached me immediately asking how she could help. Again, I knew exactly what i wanted so I could make the experience as smooth as possible. The entire time she talked with me, and removed the glass from the shelf, she was holding the disgusting, smoking cigarette and puffing on it, while touching the items I was about to
purchase. It was SO rude and unprofessional and not to mention pretty ILLEGAL in the state of NJ to smoke inside a building.
Patients with debilitating medical conditions visit this shop for items they need to administer medicine, and you are promoting carcinogenic toxins in the air they breathe. It’s disturbing!
I quickly left as soon as the transaction was complete and will never return to this trashy establishment again. I was in shock I guess or I would have asked her to put it out, but I couldn’t believe it. To top it off, as I walked out the door into the stairwell to leave, I noticed there were 5 year old children practicing karate in the neighboring room across the hallway. How rude!

Great selection. Unfortunately the female staffer wants you gone as soon as you enter the shop. Seems every moment where I was done looking at something she would yell from the register trying to ring me up.

Having the staff tell you that ALL of their products are for nicotine and refusing to help a «cancer caregiver as well as my wife the patient» with open honest discussion.
Oh, that irony? The Asian dude rambling to me from behind the counter sounded just like someone who enjoyed a little one hitter just recently.
And the female seemed to be in worse shape than him. Her voice was loud, clothes were a mess, and her attitude was short of paranoid, with a strong touch of condescending thrown in.
Shame, it’s a nice place.
Could be much better.
By the way, I’ve been in several times before and have spent some good money in there. Each time with similar results.

I stopped in to get juice for my e-​cig. I was looking for a different vapor shop but they have really bad signage. So I saw this place as I was looking for the other. I stopped in and this was a great smoke shop. A lot of different strokes for different folks. Great selection of juice and glass stuff.

Great place for all your special needs ! They have all the latest devices ! The Puffit is awesome ! Just be patient cause usually there’s only one person working, so you have to wait. Whoever is working at the time will tell you all you need to know about your purchase !

This is by far my fav smoke shop in the area. Wonderland easily has the best prices in the area for hooka stuff. I can walk in here and get 2 huge bottles of hooka vapor stones and charcoals and still just barely hit the credit card min… they are strict about that minimum tho! If you are not buying a vap or elaborate glass piece… bring cash!
The selection of glass pieces ranges from quick n easy… to ultra-​elaborate and unique. Even ones that work w plunger pressure.
They have a decent selection of vapes, ranging from cheapies… to ones that look like asthma inhalers and the pax–
Def give this shop a look. The service varies– and sometimes groups of curious young ppl r wandering, slowing things down… but the guy thats usually working is very knowledgeable about his products

Great spot ! Jeffery was very cool and knowledgeable. Had a huge variety of glass and much more. This is my new go to shop. I would advise anyone looking for specific smoke shop goods to come here. Chances are they have it!

I was on the hunt for a nice cigar to enjoy on Friday night. We had passed Wonderland Smoke Shop a bunch of times and we decided to give it a try. It is located on Route 17 South in a small «strip mall», if you will. There is a Subway and a Check Cashing place directly downstairs. I think there are only 4 retail spaces in the building.
I was expecting a routine tobacco/​cigar shop but I was WRONG. This place carries everything from cigars to hookahs to incense and beyond. Literally ANYTHING you need for your smoking pleasure. The retail space is very open and they have an amazing selection of everything you can possibly imagine. The staff was really nice, friendly, and helpful. My guy’s eyes lit up when we walked in and he immediately texted a bunch of his friends about it after we left.
If you are a smoker of any variety, then you must check this place out. You’ll be glad you did.
