History

Established in 1998.

I went to school for Apparel, Textiles and Manufacturing for a brief period. Switched schools and switched my concentration to Interior Design. We bought our first house in 1997 and I had so much fun decorating it I decided I wanted to do it for others as well. For the next few years I worked pro bono for family and friends. After my second son was born I decided to quit my full time job and follow my dream. The rest is history and my oldest is almost 18!

Business Owner

Jill is the owner/​operator of Impressive Windows & Interiors, a fabrication and design studio located in Hastings, MN. She has extensive education and experience in fashion, apparel, textiles, and interior design from the University of Wisconsin-​Stout and the University of Minnesota– Twin Cities. She holds several certifications through the Custom Home Furnishings Academy, Certified Professional Decorator (CPD), Certified Color Consultant (CNRCC), and Window Fashions Certified Professional (WFCP) Expert for Design and Workroom. She is also a member of many industry organizations such as Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA as well as a current member of the Window Fashions Advisory Board.
