I visit often when skiing, great atmosphere, good menu and bar selection, and consistently poor service. Staff runs the place like a cafeteria.

This place is located on the 2nd floor of the main chalet at Afton Alps. They have a nice beer selection with all the primary domestics on tap in addition to a full bar. They also have an order at the counter style grill. They offer a descent menu. I had a french dip which was good. It was a bit small for the price. My wife had a cheese quesadilla. She said it was better than expected at a Ski Lodge.
In years past this bar & grill (since renamed) used to be for adults only. I found that I liked this much better. Just outside and down on the first floor is a cafeteria style restaurant that is crazy with kids. I liked it better when this place was a complete solace from that level of craziness.
