STAY AWAY! that is all I can say. do not waste your time with this idiot. I have never dealt with such a loser who claims he knows how to service pools and hot tubs. He is beyond condescending and his rates are threw the roof and he does nothing.
If you look you will find bad reviews all over and there is a reason, it is so true. I am so mad that I paid him for a service call for $ 160 to confirm what I had told him. RIP OFF!

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
I had a perfectly working hot tub moved to my home from my parents. After a few months of use, it stopped working, so I had called Sun King. First of all, the owner has no customer service skills or general social skills at all when answering the phone. He had sent his repair guy out to fix the tub in July, and it required a new pump for $ 500. The work was done, and I was required to give a credit card by phone for the work. A few months later in October, the tub stopped working again, after three visits at $ 150 a pop, several things were repaired, but the tub STILL did not work. I was told I needed a new heater, which would cost $ 400. A few moments later, I was called back and told that I needed a whole new pack at a price of $ 1050. I initially approved, but after some research, called back an hour later and cancelled that order. I was told that the parts were already ordered. I asked for details about the pack, what was included, what my $ 1050 would pay for, and was never given any answers — only really shady responses. I told Paul to cancel the order until I was able to do more research and decide what I wanted to do, and was given much grief over that. Finally, he refunded my $ 600 depost for the pack. I am not convinced at all that the repairman didn’t actually DO the damage to the other parts, as the tub worked perfectly fine for several years prior to them getting involved.
I was called a few days later by Paul who told me I still owed him for the other work, including a new heater they installed. I was very confused, because the new «pack» they said I needed INCLUDES a heater, and I still needed that. I asked him for details, but he was unable to give me any. I then asked him to mail me an invoice listing the work I still owed for. A few days later I received that requested invoice, along with a credit card receipt — he had used my credit card number from my work in July to charge me for this unauthorized work! He charged my credit card without my authorization!
I called Paul to discuss this, and he fought tooth and nail over the issue, refusing to issue a refund until I returned the heater they installed. I told him that I would remove the heater and let him know when he could pick it up. He informed me that if I removed it myself, he would not refund the money. However, I will not allow anyone from his business on my property, as they had already caused more damage than good. My father removed the heater without damage, and it was very obviously a used heater that had been installed. I called Paul to inform him, and he again hemmed and hawed about the refund. He finally told me he would do it, and call me back. I’ve called once a week for the last three weeks, and STILL do not have the refund, and the heater is sitting in a box at my house waiting for pick up.
After all of that, I had the ENTIRE PACK replaced (including a new heater) for under $ 500. Sun King was charging me $ 1050 for a pack that included a heater, plus $ 400 for another heater that I didn’t need. SCAM AND FRAUD!
I’ve now been battling back and forth with this man to get this resolved — he even had someone posing as an attorney call me! I am calling the police to report credit card fraud, the better business bureau to report a complaint (they have a D– rating with the BBB already!), and have already put a stop payment for this charge with my credit card company. I would absolutely NEVER even recommend this company to my worst enemy.
