History

Established in 2003.

Master’s Design Build was established in the inner city of Baltimore in January of 2003 and quickly established a reputation for integrity, honesty and exceptional workmanship. The owner moved his family to Hatfield PA in the fall of 2005 and we have been building that same reputation here in Southeastern PA ever since.

Business Owner

I have been involved in the construction industry since age 14 when I worked on a roofing crew for my father’s business – Blue Ridge Roofing, Inc. in Charlottesville, VA. My father taught me the value of hard work. I remember being 15 years old, standing on a roof in mid-​July watching the sweltering sun rise.

After college and after getting married in 1992, I took a significant pay cut and entered general construction working for a custom home builder in Harrisonburg VA. Our adventures also took us to Versailles MO where I worked for a contractor doing remodeling work including plumbing and electrical. We returned to Charlottesville in 1996 where I worked as an Estimator and Superintendent for Blue Ridge Roofing until the end of 1999. In 2000, we moved to Baltimore where we served as Directors for a short term missions training center for Eastern Mennonite Missions.

In 2003, I started Master’s Craft Construction which became Master’s Design Build after our move to PA.
