Heard a lot of good things about this place so we thought we’d try it. This was our first time dining at a Raising Cane’s and quite frankly it wasn’t good. I really didn’t like the flavor of anything — not the chicken, fries, etc. The store was very clean, the staff was friendly and the store décor was nice.

Over the years my business trips have allowed me to venture out in different areas of the United States and a number of years ago when I was in the New Orleans area had the opportunity to be introduced to this restaurant chain. It is known for its chicken fingers french fries coleslaw and it’s magic secret sauce. Stopping by approximately 10 p.m. on a weeknight found the drive-thru extremely busy with the 8 or 9 cars queued up placing your order and trying to pick up their order and I elected to dine in. Found the restroom to be relatively clean as well as the main dining area. One of the places I found by visiting this chain is it they normally have relatively Quick Service and a staff that seems to hustle to get orders out. No exceptions tonight ordered a 6 piece meal with a fries without salt and that seemed to cause a little bit of angst amongst the crew. The chicken was hot french fries were undercooked but they did not have salt on them which is a good thing that’s the knock on the score. Parking lot could have been a lot cleaner and another star was removed due to the fact that the music in the restaurant is it extremely high levels and it becomes very difficult to have a conversation with your dining partner sitting across the table from you. The dining hall does reflect the typical Cane’s theme with the glitter ball and selling T-shirts and other local memorabilia as well as a tribute to the local University.

The menu is pretty simple so the food comes out quickly. I had the box combo which came with chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, and a soft drink. The girl who took my order asked me if I liked coleslaw, and I said no, so she said I could trade it for more fries, toast, or Cain sauce — not sure how she knew that I wouldn’t like it, but I’m glad she asked. Fingers were good, all white meat. It would be awesome if they had a spicy version, but what can you do. The fries and Texas toast were also really good, and the Cain sauce had a great flavor. Employees were friendly and the restaurant was clean. Worth a stop in.

Love the food. Really clean & great Staff. Sometimes the tenders are a little dry but most of the time they are perfect if you dine in. The tea is also amazing. My wifes favorite spot in town.

We’ve been to a ton of Canes across the South and in Vegas/Arizona. This one could be the busiest late night location, even busier than the one near LSU/ULL/ULM, etc. It’s like a party here on Friday and Saturday nights from 11pm to 2am. In fact, it’s fun to relax, sip on sweet tea and lemonade and people watch. You’ll likely see a bunch a cops grabbing a late night bite, piles of chicks in dresses and mini skirts and groups of drunk people grabbing tenders and fries. It’s a college hangout most of the time and even though there’s often a bunch of students working the service remains solid. Hands down, the best chicken tenders in town.

Excellent service! Food not so much. Chicken strips were dry. I’m not the kind of person who likes too much sauce. Breading seemed underseasoned as well. I didn’t care for the fries either.

I eat here way too much. Fantastic service and sinfully delicious chicken strips. Pro-tip: Substitute the cole slaw for an extra cup of sauce or piece of bread. Bonus pro-tip: Eat here every day.

Chicken strips. Very hard to mess up. Good for late night munchies. Didn’t see anything special about the sauce. Friendly staff.

I would have given this place five stars except that I didn’t like the sauce or the coleslaw. If you like vinegary things, you might love this place. The chicken was very well done and it was very clean.
