We stopped 3 times during our stay in Punaluu. Depending on when you go, there could be a line. We watched limos, tourists, families and local barefoot children line up for Chiyo’s treats. We tried other Shave Ice places but Chiyo’s Snack Shack was the best! Waiting in line, reading the menu board and seeing the treats custom made one by one tells you that something about this snack shack is magical. We had the Guri Guri, Acai bowls(non dairy) and the Shave Ice(one with ice cream, one without). Liked them all equally. 5 stars!

Super cute little stand in the same parking lot as Kayas Kitchen. The shave ice is HUGE and comes with ice cream. They have punch cards, get the 7th one free. It’s pretty good, tho I wish they would make their own lihing syrup like Stanley’ s Chicken used to make.

This is a wonder little snack shack that was a quick 5 minute walk from our rental condo. Along with the usual Shave Ice they offered brownies, acai berry bowls and Hawaiian popcorn. The flavors I chose for my Shave Ice was mango and passion fruit, and of course, with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom. Delicious! The people running Chiyo’s were very friendly and helpful. Great costumer service! With great snacks and a great location, this place get my highest recommendation!

Loved the Acai Bowl. Its very filling. Comes in a 16oz cup and taste great. Was thinking about sharing but decided to enjoy it myself and boy was it worth it. Very Very Delicious.
