Still the best EVAH! I love these people. We rushed in at some late hour(we called ahead and let know though) and she was waiting for us with our tasty, tasty food hot(beef and chicken shawarma, kibbeh and a crazy tasty salad) and ready. Did I say, these folks are the best ever? There’s an old saying: Great food makes people great.(ok, I just made that up) but honestly, I come off from here always feeling like I’m on top of the world and can take on anything.

All I can say is that the food is fresh, homemade and delicious. Prices are great and the portions are perfect. The falafel wrap is the best in the Valley.

These people are the most kindest people you will ever meet. Great service when you walk in the door. The food is so amazing. I can’t say that I ever had a single issue with this place ever. If you have never been, I recommend trying it. I have been eating there since I was 15. Keep up the great work. You guys are the best.

Stopped in for lunch after driving by this place countless times over the years. The owners were very friendly. We ordered both the chicken and beef shawarma plates. The food took quite a while to arrive even though they were not busy. Everything was very fresh and obviously prepared with care. Nadia the owner introduced herself and apologized for the wait, and told us how the shawarma is prepared fresh every order and takes a bit of work. It was absolutely delicious, although we both thought the chicken was best of the two. The portions were quite large so we ended up taking more than half of the food home. It hasn’t been 30 minutes since we returned and already the fridge has been raided a few times — these leftovers will not survive until morning and we’ll be going back to check out the other Lebanese menu items very soon.

I have just recently tried this place and I lived in the area almost my whole life. I went for breakfast and it was really good! Surprisingly good, actually. Even the coffee was good! I tried to go back there numerous times over the summer, however the owners were on a 5 week vacation, but those 5 weeks turned into the entire summer. Other than that slight disappoint, I would definitely recommend this place. The breakfast is reasonable priced, and you can tell it’s cooked to order and homemade. I also noticed the lunch menu of mostly Lebanese, I believe it was, food. I definitely took note of that and would love to try having lunch there. The subs on the menu were extremely reasonably priced.(Not sure the size, as I have yet to tried them.) The owners were extremely nice when I went there. I could tell there were a lot of regulars present, however the owners made me feel completely comfortable. I felt like a regular myself! No wonder why they are doing so well. I wish I tried this place a lot sooner.

We went for breakfast. I had a veggie omelet with toast and home fries, and my husband had the working man’s breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage toast and home fries. The owner came out to say hello an ask how our food was, and she showed us the most current lunch menu after she noticed us looking at the outdated one on the wall. We’ll definitely be back to try the Lebanese fare.

I’m an ethnic-food junkie, so the reviews of the great Lebanese food available at Azzi are what took me to Haverhill. If you’re looking for Middle-Eastern sweets, go elsewhere. This is NOT a bakery — but this is a great place for breakfast or lunch. We got there about 11:30, right on the cusp of meal-change, so I was able to see the great breakfast plates go by my table as we waited for our order. I must admit, they were very tempting: eggs, toast, beans — all smoking hot and well-prepared! My husband and I ordered the chicken sharwarma wraps — oh, yum! Homemade Syrian bread, perfectly marinated chicken, tabbouleh, tomatoes, onions, and a special sauce made us both wish we had bigger appetites. Delicious! If you want something more American, the classic cheeseburgers and steak and cheese sandwiches also looked good. The restaurant itself is cute and clean on an unobtrusive corner — blink and miss. The owner and his wife are sweet and anxious to please. Make it a point to try this place — you won’t be disappointed.

I have eaten there at least 50 times over the past 3 years. I am not an expert on middle eastern food — but I can not believe it could get much better than this! Character and authenticity make this a great place for lunch — that will not break the bank.

I have to say that this was the best kibbeh I have ever had. The restaurant is extremly small but, very clean with plenty of parking in the rear of the building the woman who waited on me(I’m assuming the owners wife) was very friendly. Did I mention the price 6.79 for a big piece of kibbeh a large amount of rice Salad and fresh Syrian bread unheard of for good middle eastern food in this area. Definatly a must try :)

Hands down the best Lebanese Food Available. The Chicken Sharwarma is the best I have ever had. The places in Boston and NYC pale in comparison to the Homestyle that they put into the food. I admit, I have never had any of their non Lebanese food. But, I am sure its great. I literally cried when they were closed this summer. The owner had a heart attack. But he’s back with his super wife cooking. I wish them well. You must go and try the food. Do not be put off by the 50’s diner look. Its unassuming.

If you came looking for a 5 course meal @ the ritz then Go there, Although its called a bakery its more of a breakfast /diner. Diner style service lots of parking in the rear of the building. The owner and his wife are super nice and the food really Rocks! They close early 3pm so get there before the good things run out! All the food is made fresh daily.

Apparently this place has been around for 18 or so years. Apparently for the first 20 years of my life I have been driving by but never noticing. Apparently I was missing out on something wonderful! The previous reviewer apparently has something up their rear and pretty much doesn’t know left from right. Skip their review. This place is really a hole in the wall diner style on the corner of 125 and white st. If you are not used to the area it can seem a little sketchy Also there is a crap load of parking behind the building, in an actual parking lot and I am pretty sure it was there… always. Ok so the reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they didn’t have hummus, rice or kibbeh. I asked why and what I didnt realize is that they close at 3pm and we were there at 2:30 and they ran out for the day or something. Ok I was disappointed, until I ate the food that we were allowed to order. We got meat pies(GETTHEM!!), grape leaves(OMG), and chicken shawarma(YUM!). The Shawarma was seriously large enough to split and it was so good. You can tell that the food they cook is home made and fresh. Also, it is authentic lebanese food(if that is what you want, they also have american subs). I didn’t check out the kitchen, frankly its their kitchen and if they want it messy then that is what they should do. The provided us with a service which was super friendly, funny and delicious at a price that was super cheap. I threatened them that I WILLBEBACK. and I wish I did like 8 years ago.

Lebanese/American food. I looked but never saw any baked goods in this place. Weird since it’s also a bakery. Run by a cute couple who’ve apparently been at this location for awhile(judging by the photo on the wall of a much younger version of themselves at the same location). Boyfriend and I ordered a falafel wrap to split with a side of hummus and a side of spinach pie. The spinach pie tasted like canned vinegared spinach and the falafel wrap was loaded with iceberg lettuce and pickles. Weird. The hummus was pretty good though they did not give us enough pita to eat it with. We had the lemonade and I think it was Hi-C. I used the bathroom in this place and I had to walk through the kitchen to get there. Not too keen on that — just wondering who all waltzes through the kitchen while they are busy preparing food. On that note, when I was walking back through I noticed that the kitchen was a bit of a crazy mess and there was all kinds of mail and papers stacked behind the counter. Also weird. When we finished eating, we had a hard time finding anyone to take our money. We were the only people in the place — I had to go back into the kitchen and track down the wife(thus giving me another view of the wacko cluttered kitchen!). Oh yeah, and if you still go there after reading this, there are only two parking spaces nearby and they are 30 minute slots. I was going to give this place two starts but in writing this review, I’ve talked myself down a star…
