My first time ordering I got the Meze Plate the only thing I didn’t like out of it was the grape leaves it was over cooked. Then ordered the Gyro it was a late order so the meat was dry and over cooked & oily so I’m gonna try and order early I think early is better and fresher. Will give another review when I order again.

Most amazing gyros I’ve had in Massachusetts. No competition, I get mine the wonderfully traditional way they make it, my husband gets his with no fries. They season the pita, the meat is real meat not frozen, the Greek fries are so stupid good.
I love this food, I like the service, I like the miniature cars they deliver in. Delivery is fast and they have a portable card reader which I love because I don’t have to give my card out over the phone.
We ordered two days in a row because we were so impressed. Pride of ownership radiates from this business and it reflects in the quality of the food and service.
I’ll order here everyday because I know every time I order it will be fabulously delicious. Don’t change anything! I’m telling all my friends!

deal so I figured I’d give it a try. Got their gyro pizza and gyro sandwich. Both were amazing and CHEAP. Definitely coming back!

WOW !!! What a great find. I was just browsing pizza joints here on Unilocal and saw a new place in town — SMART PIZZA. I had written off Greek pizza 20 years ago because all the Greek pizza in Haverhill would be so greasy I couldn’t eat it. That has all changed because the cheese pizza with feta I ordered was fantastic !! Not at all greasy and loaded with feta. They use a slightly sweet sauce but not too sweet. The dough and crust were light and airy. There is nothing bad about the pizza here.
GYRO — OMG !! My girl and I loved the gyro so much. This was the best gyro that I have ever had. It was loaded with juicy/​tasty meat and I am already looking forward to getting it again. They have one of those authentic spin things that cooks the meat rotisserie style. The bread/​pita thing they put it in seemed fresh made and was soft and yummy.
FRIED DOUGH — the fried dough is a box of little sticks that have cinnamon & powdered suger on it and it comes with some mystery sauce to dip it in. I would say the fried dough is just average, nothing special.
OVERALL — I sound like a commercial for this place LOL

Everything at Smart Pizza is 5 or 6 bucks and a good deal (specialty pizzas are more)

The pizza is really good. They also sell gluten free falafel wraps and salad. The owner and his wife are super friendly. You can’t beat $ 5 for a pizza!!!

$ 5 pizza is 10x better than little ceasers. Gyros are excellent! The delivery charge is $ 2 not 10 like the other guy said! Great food great price!

Pizza was great (pan pizza) with a great price. The entire menu is so reasonable and the owner, George has done a great job with the food, lots of Greek specialties and the atmosphere. Highly recommend! Baklava was good too!

I got delivery from Smart Pizza for the first time — quick service, good food, and good value. I went basic — cheese pizza and a Greek salad — and it was good. Plenty of feta on the salad, could’ve used a couple more tomatoes.
I will order again!

Authentic, incredible gyros! Great value in a very clean comfortable setting. Earlier review about a $ 10 surcharge for delivery is outright false. Lots of bang for the buck!

The gyro is a must try! Nothing like that previously frozen meat you get any other restaurant. Great prices and good service

Personally, I’m not a fan of Greek style pizza. But it was okay. For $ 5, it beats Little Caesars. The Gyro was on point though. Very tastey. I’ll update my review if I get around to trying other things on the menu.

Have been to Smart Pizza at least 8 times since it opened. The food is terrific. One of the best Gyro’s in Massachusetts, great pita, great meat, great seasoning and great fresh tomatoes and greens. I ask for no French Fries (a Greek tradition) on the gyro. A real treat and as of right now, it’s only $ 5.00. Don’t tell the owner, but its the best sandwich for the price around. Have not tried the pizza or interesting pasta dishes yet, but they also look good and are value priced at about $ 5.00. Many other items on the menu. Clean, smartly remodeled restaurant with seating for about 10 and easy parking for take-​out. Owner, George, is very friendly and there all the time. Give it a try, you’ll be very pleased. I have an office in Haverhill and you’ll probably see me there picking up lunch at least every other day, if not more. Good luck.
