Studio At 13

The true test of a service industry is their response when there is a problem. I’ve been a fan of Studio at 13 since I first moved to the Haverhill area. This week, there was an issue with the outcome of a service and I am blown away by the response of the salon. I initially felt uncomfortable even calling them because I just love them all so much, but they sprang into action to get me back in as soon as possible. There was no question that their goal was 100% satisfaction, AND to make sure that I felt comfortable and well taken care of. If you are seeking a new salon in Haverhill, or are new to the area and facing the uncomfortable task of finding a new salon to call your own, I highly recommend booking your next appointment with Studio at 13.

I am sad to say I had a bad experience with a girl named Heather Lofaro, who works at the studio. The owner and her sister always treated my mother so good so when I wanted to feel glamorous with colored full feeling hair that’d chemical free, i went to them who sent me to heather for extentions. She was nice and assured me I’d have full gorgeous hair that will last over six months which would be practically maintenance free hair. She charged me 300 $ for just the hair and 200 $ to put them in and style them which took her less than 30 mins. Red flags went up when the second day a couple fell right out of my head and a few felt like they slid out in the back. Heather seemed nice but aggravated when I told her about it she had a bunch of excuses and put the one she found back in my hair after I had to put a few back in myself. I used all the products she told me and even the one her boss told her not to sell and I still had a few more come out and feel funny the next week. So I asked for help again and she put them in and Natalie gave me some free shampoo which I have the money for so I gave heather the money. She told me that none of her other clients have had this happen and she doesn’t know, (which made me feel terrible.)maybe its because I have such nice smooth hair that doesn’t want to hold on, she said to me. I wish she told me this in the consultation. $ 540 is a lot tips in all to have this trouble and not be heard by anyone or helped correctly. This is the third week and I just want the extentions out of my head when I asked heather to take them out. she wants me to make an appointment an to charge me even more to take them out. I’m so upset and hope no one else gets dooped like I have :(

I really like this place. Heather did an amazing job on my bayalge! She was very accommodating and I left very satisfied ! Nancy is amazing at eye brows I will never go anywhere else because she knows what she’s doing ! They always come out perfect ! ALSO, the owner is very passionate about her salon and a complete sweet heart ! I highly recommend them :)

This was my first time going to Studio at 13 and I could not be more pleased. As soon as I walked in I was seated, offered refreshments, and the secretary was the nicest/​funniest and most beautiful girl ever! Natalie who had cut my hair was so sweet and down to earth, the other employees were very humorous! Overall my experience was great!!! My hair has honestly never felt better. I can not wait to return. I even left with a little care pack that included shampoo, conditioner and a $ 10 gift certificate! I highly recommend it!

Its actually embarrassing how poorly this place is run. I absolutely will not be back, and if I could give 0 stars I would. The owner is incredibly unprofessional and it shows.

Amazing service! I moved to Massachusetts and was having the hardest time to find the perfect stylist until I found Natalie! She’s beyond amazing! The salon is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is friendly. Natalie did such a great job on my hair! She’s very talented. definitely pleased with her service and products! Nancy is amazing too with eye brow waxing.

Wow! Natalie and staff go above and beyond to deliver incredible service and the best cut I have had in years. You will not be disappointed visiting this gem.

I love a fresh men’s haircut from Natlie at Studio 13. It is a world better than ANY of those S hair franchises. It’s always perfect and SHE ONLY CHARGES $ 15 FOR A GUYS CUT! I know that’s cheaper than any franchise. I tip her as much as possible because it’s only $ 15! I’m not the salon type but it’s friendly, beautiful and relaxing. I felt so comfortable there I even got a manicure! Normally I’d feel way too girly but my nails were nasty. Kary put me at ease and got my nails perfect. The manicure was HALF the cost of other salons, only $ 15 dollars!
Guys, if you’ve got an occasion to handsome up this really is the place to go.

Love it here! My friend recommended it to me and I have nothing but positive things to say! Loren did my hair (I got a full foil) and it came out beautifully. I don’t particularly care for chatting while getting my hair done and she was really cool with that. My hair took 3 hours to do and not once did I feel rushed or ignored, even on such a busy day. The salon is very clean and chic but parking is a bit inconvenient. They have olaplex here which is amazing because the next closest salon that does it is in Boston!

They are amazing. They open at 10 which is super early for a salon. I called to make an appointment to get my eyebrows done they said they were booked then asked me to hold on a minute and then were able to squeeze me in. She did and amazing job they decently priced and have excellent customer service. I’ll be back for sure.

The salon was like walking into a salon in NYC. So updated and tasteful. Natalie and Nancy were so welcoming and friendly. I felt as if I hit the jackpot by finding Natalie for a stylist. I am eager to return for the spa services (nails, facials, massage) asap. This place is a gem, so glad I was introduced to these wonderful people. Just felt as if I should let others know as we all know how hard it can be to find a stylist who has style and can listen to their client’s wishes.

I have done business with Studio@13 as well as have had services and both experiences were great. It’s a very friendly salon, all employees are welcoming, professional and down to earth. I had the best facial I’ve ever had with Nancy. I’m hooked! They have my business going forward. I’ve already started recruiting my friends and family.

Just loved them. So kind and welcoming. Family owned and run. Answered all my questions. Was professional and knowledgeable. I got my eyebrows and lip waxed there, let me tell you, I have already had 3 bad experiences in MA. I need to stick to NV. But anyway, the lady who did mine was wonderful and kind. She told me to come back in two weeks when one of my brows had filled in more and would shape better with the other. Now I am coming back for lip brow and Brazilian. Here’s hoping.

This studio is by far the most welcoming salon I have ever been to. The salon is run by two sisters, Natalie who does amazing things with hair, and Nancy who does nails, massages, facials and is well known for her eyebrow tranformations. (Mine in particular!) There is no where else you can go and get such reasonable prices, quality work and feel like family. Go to Studio at 13 in Haverhill and you won’t regret it!

Nancy and Natalie do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome and pampered. The shop is beautiful and a little bit funky, as well as comfortable. Natalie does wonders with your hair, listens well and you’ll never walk out vowing not to cut your hair for another year so it will grow back! Nancy is exceptional with eyebrows and nails!

This salon is so fabulous. The interior is really clean, modern and relaxing with a lot of exposed brick.
My stylist is Natalie, she is the owner. I have recommended this place to so many friends who went once and have been regulars ever since. The staff are all super nice and professional. You know when you go to get your hair cut and you tell the stylist what you want, and she says «uh huh,» and does something completely different than what you asked because she thinks it would look better? That has never once happened to me here.
I don’t color my hair or anything, and it is 35 dollars for a wash, cut, and dry which is very reasonably, especially for the quality.
They are a full service salon so they do hair, makeup, nails, facials, tanning etc. Try them and you will not be disappointed.
