I go here because they are fast and do a decent job… Lacking in the «pamper» part, No hand massage at all anymore… What makes me crazy is that the employees talk constantly while doing their job, I had four of them around me yesterday and wanted to scream. I told the owner, not sure if he will change things. Snow is the only one there that cares about her clients.

Although my manicure and pedicure turned out very well, I did not anticipate on spending $ 50 for it. I strictly came here based on the Unilocal reviews indicating that it was the «best value» in the area. I like to get my nails done frequently, so $ 50 every week isn’t going to fly with me.
So here’s what happened. I came in, asked for a mani and pedi. The lady doing my nails asked me which one I wanted, and I said «regular» 3 times. So lo and behold, they charge me for a spa pedicure that’s $ 35, plus a regular manicure that’s $ 10, and a $ 5 tip in case I plan on coming back. Again, I like to get my nails done frequently so $ 50 for a mani and pedi (no gel, no acrylic) is far too expensive).
Next time, I’ll just stick with a salon where they understand perfect English. I know there are some staff here that do understand it quite well, but I was paired with two ladies that barely understood my simple requests. Needless to say, I will not spend $ 50 for a mani/​pedi again (and that’s without a complimentary massage!!)

Went there last night to get a gel manicure. Took my daughter she got a standard full sent tip acrylics. Here it is. They are rude, pushing and unprofessional. I don’t know about you but I value where I spend my hard earned money. I usually go to Nail Barr In Newtown square, but needed to get nails re-​done before Saturday and wouldn’t have the time and Nail Barr closes at 7pm on Thursday. So I thought, I’ll give it a try. First when my daughter went to pick out her nail color, they said sit down you can pick it later, then when later came, the women told her to «Hurry up» and pick a color. I had 3 women start the process of removing the gel on 3 fingers. The would start say hold on an a new women would sit down. I have only have gels one time and my gel was easy peesy to remove. They were going home and such so the would just start then up and leave when their ride got there. There was NO Spa like service. No hand rub, lotion nothing. I guess that’s because we rejected the neck massage they offered for a dollar a minute which is not expensive. But we were not interested. They were clearly annoyed. And yup you guessed it they started talking about us in Vietnamese right in front of us. I don’t need or ask for a lot but I do come from a background of customer service. I expect at least a good attitude and manners. Never going back. Sorry Figi. another customer lost. GET IT Together ! The only positive is that the place is visually attractive.

I only come here for waxing with Snow. I went somewhere else once and regretted it.- Snow is literally the only person besides my husband I am eternally committed to. I seriously don’t know what I’ll do in 50 years when she retires. Snow is amazing and gets it done fast which is what I want in a waxing situation. Also, the salon is beautiful. I have a gotten a couple manis here which were good but they always to seem to be a little better at the haverford rd location.

I’ve been here a couple times, trying to restore my faith in this nail salon, but it’s just not a great one to go to if you want a relaxing experience. The only pro I can say is that if I’m in a rush for a school dance or special occasion, they do both the mani and pedi at the same time. But the staff are always bugging you to get other things done such as your eyebrows. I mean I’m talking repetitively. I kept telling them I didn’t want them done politely but they never stopped until I left. They never gave me their name to tip and they don’t speak English very well. They were talking about me I’m pretty sure because they kept looking up and laughing at me. They do a nice job but for the manicures they really don’t last that long unless you get the acrylics. The acrylics look sort of nice. If you are in a rush and need to get your nails done for an occasion for one or two nights, this is the place to go but if you want a relaxing, long lasting mani/​pedicure, I would skip this place.

I have been going to Fiji nails since it opened, and dealing with the owner Kim since she was working in a different salon years earlier. Kim runs and excellent business. It is clean and always leaves my nails looking perfect. They offer superb services at reasonable prices. Whether I spend $ 15 or $ 100 the staff is courteous and takes their time to provide services the right way. I see snow for a bikini wax and she does an excellent job for a great price. Highly recommended.

I’ve been here two times. They have the latest hours of any place I know which is great for me because I work late hours and when I get off everywhere else is closing. They do nice work and have a big place so there isn’t too much of a wait.

I had a great men’s manicure and pedicure. Clean cut nails and while I got the pedicure an employee came over and offered a neck massage during my pedicure or 10 dollars for 10 minutes. Do yourself a favor and say yes. I was debating it but felt so relaxed after; it was so worth it.

I’ve been coming here semi-​regularly since they opened for manicures and pedicures. It’s clean and usually pretty quick. They also have evening hours and are opened on Sundays. I’ve had a subpar manicure once or twice (yesterday from one of the men — please don’t pull my arm out of my socket while getting a mani in the pedicure chair — holy manhandling!).
But, please. Please. In the name of all that is good and holy, please stop the upselling. I was asked no less than 5 times yesterday if I wanted extra services. No, I don’t want my eyebrows waxed. No, I don’t want a massage. No, I don’t want a gel manicure. No, I don’t want a spa pedicure. No, I don’t want a massage — remember when I said no the first time you asked? Your customers are perfectly capable of asking for all of the services they want when they check in.

I’m not sure why the reviews are so low here. A friend and I went recently to get simple manicures during the lunch hour. Convenient to get to and tons of parking. It was empty (though more people came in while we were there) and we were taken care of right away. We weren’t rushed through the process and overall the manicure itself looks great! We were treated kindly and the workers chatted with us, and each other (that’s at every salon I’ve been to). We were asked if we wanted extra services but we politely said no, and that was that. No pushiness or pressure. We will definitely try this place again. Maybe the second time won’t be so great or maybe the place has taken the prior feedback on here seriously and have improved because of it. But overall our experience was wonderful and you can’t beat the price.

The place is very nice when you walk in; spacious and looks clean and has a lot of workers. I visited this nail salon three times; 1^st time I was impressed I don’t know if it was because they were new or knew my mom and I were new customers overall it wasn’t bad I actually enjoyed my refill and part of my pedicure it sucked that they rushed and barely massaged my legs because that’s probably the best part of spending my 35 dollars on. 2^nd time I went they were not pleasant they insisted i get a massage and an eye brow wax… totally annoying since that was one of the reasons I left my other salon. I finally gave into the massage and the women who gave it to me ended up hurting me and she didn’t want to even do it she was huffing and puffing her way over to me when the woman told her she had to do it in the language they speak. 3^rd TIME WAS CERTAINLY A CHARM (sarcastic) I ended up having to go to the doctors a week after my pedicure because my toe was infected, my pedicure lasted 15 minutes FAIL… yup that has never happened in my whole life I will not be returning and I was thinking of calling the board but I am honestly don’t want to waist anymore time on this place.

I’ve given this salon a few chances only to be disappointed each time. The salon itself is beautiful, it’s nice to have a large open space, which allows for better ventilation. Other than that my experiences at the salon were poor. There isn’t much customer service, I found the staff and the owner to be very rude. Like other reviews here, the staff is very aggressive in asking you to upgrade your services and/​or adding to what you asked for. My very first visit, I was asked if I wanted waxing three times, and then I was asked about my eyelashes and where I get them done because they do that too. A simple, «Are there any other services you’d be interested in today?» would be sufficient and customer friendly. Also, they charge extra for everything, I always use vinyl nail polish, which lasts longer and they charge $ 2 extra per service for it’s use, so if I was getting a mani/​pedi in the same color there’s an extra $ 4 charge to use that polish. My first time there I used two vinyl colors, for my mani/​pedi. For my feet I did half moons and they charged me $ 2 extra on my toes and on my hands I did one color and either polka dots, a half moon, or a cross with the other color. For my hands they charged me $ 4 for vinyl, plus $ 5 for design. I wasn’t sure why they charged me $ 2 extra for vinyl on my toes and $ 4 on my hands, using the same two colors. The owner got into an argument with me and told me that maybe I didn’t understand that it was extra. She basically talked to me like I was stupid and tried to write out on a piece of paper the charges. I understood what the charges were, however they didn’t make sense as to why I was charged $ 2 for my toes and $ 4 for my hands using the same two colors. The owner explained to me that the extra was because of the design, to which I replied I thought that was what the $ 5 charge was for. She ended up not charging me $ 2 dollars more for my hands, but argued with me and was extremely rude.
The second time I went in, I didn’t really have any complaints further than the staff were rude again. They weren’t as pushy with adding additional treatments so that was better and I already knew what to expect being so disappointed last time, so I paid the extra for vinyl $ 2 extra per each service using the same color for $ 4 total and was on my way.
The third time I went to this salon was based on the hours again (they are open later than the other salons) and at 7p.m., I ran in to get a quick mani/​pedi. I was the only customer at the time and had two techs working on me at the same time. I was only asked to upgrade for my pedicure and then also $ 5 extra for some foot scrub, which I agreed to, but was unimpressed with. The tech who was doing my manicure sat the soaking bowl for my nails on my leg, which I thought was strange since they’re wet. The other tech grabbed my foot to lift my leg while doing my toes and before I would even think to grab, or move the bowl it spilled all over my lap. Needless to say I sat wet the rest of the time. They asked if I was okay, which I was okay, just wet. I had to laugh because I just can’t get a good experience at this salon. I’m sure the nail tech will not do that again. The scrub that I paid an extra $ 5 for did not help, I particularly hoped it would help my heels because they’re dry and cracked and I left with little difference in the extra dry skin surrounding my heels. Most importantly, the tech took the tools she was using to trim my cuticles and wiped it with a towel and then placed it back in a plastic covering. I thought to myself, well that’s not sanitary… ewww.
Overall, this salon is convenient because of the later hours, but I’ve lived in Havertown for the last 6 years and normally go to Eagle nails… I have no complaints about them except for a hideous spray tan I received there, but was refunded immediately with no questions asked. Their customer service compared to fiji is hands down better.
Do not go to fiji nails if you have other options, that’s the best advice I can give you if you like to enjoy your experience when getting your nails done.

Worst pedicure of my life. Doesn’t even deserve a star but it won’t allow me to put zero. They charge an extra $ 5 to remove calluses which I thought was a standard when it comes to getting a pedicure. They didn’t do anything different then normal. Will never come back. My lady was very rude and rushed through the whole thing and practically threw my shoes at me at the end. Worst service EVER.

What a beautiful space. What a shame this nail salon runs it. My mani and pedi was done at the same time, which was uncomfortable. To top it off the women working spoke in a different language the entire time, rushed around despite the salon being empty, switched out the manicurist twice, & addled me if I wanted my eyebrows done several times. Wouldn’t go back even if someone bought me a gift certificate.

This place is big and it has a lot of workers. I’m just not a fan. My nail are nice but I showed her a design I wanted. It was simply, just some glitter but she couldn’t do it and got mad was I asked to take it off. I won’t be going out of my way to go there.

So apparently the term «the customer is always right» is not something that applies here. I asked if I could get my nails done a certain way and shape and they told me that it could not be done. If I’m paying for the service I would like to get what I want. I will never be coming back here.

Unfortunately I will not be returning.
Asked for a spa pedicure and literally sat with my feet in water for 30 minutes before someone came to work on me. I was put in the back because it was crowded, so I had no phone service. I was probably in there for an hour and a half. They did not use new tools which grossed me out. The place looks relaxing and inviting, but the experience was the opposite.

I have been here twice now and have to say that it is so hit or miss that I really wasn’t sure how to rate it!
The first time I came it was crowded and, as a walk-​in, I had to sit with my feet in warm swirling water for awhile. I was ok with it since I didn’t have an appointment. The young girl that came over did an excellent job. I upgraded to the spa pedicure and completely enjoyed my 50 minute experience.
This time I came when it was mostly empty so I expected to have an even more relaxed time. Wow was I wrong. Apparently we were racing to get my toes done so she could sit and be bored again. The spa pedicure this time was 30 min. The first 10 of which I was harassed by every other bored person in the place asking to do my nails, face, eyebrows, massage…
If you are a gambler, this may be your place. You never know what you’ll get.

Cheating on your nail salon in Delco is like cheating on your boyfriend– you just don’t do it… except I did. I regretted the whole thing though.
The new location is beautiful inside. I can’t imagine anyone ever having to wait here since there are chairs a-​plenty. I picked out my color and went to the pedicure chair. The woman sprayed her tools down with a blue solution and started on my toes. I was a bit skeeved by this since I usually see them remove the tools from the autoclave. Even if it is all for show, it is a show I appreciate.
The pedicure was fine. They are a bit pushy in trying to upgrade you on your pedicure or maybe you want a mani or maybe an eyebrow wax. No — just the pedi please. I don’t think I will return.

After reading some amazing reviews about this nail salon, I decided to check it out. Apparently this salon is owned by the same people as «Fiji Nails» in Ardmore… Which was my first red flag.
Getting off and onto Eagle Road is a nightmare so I would never return during lunch time since the roads get clustered. The interior is spacious and clean. I called the day before to make an appointment for a pedicure and gel refill at 11:30 and I arrived at 11:40.
I sat for a pedicure and was asked five times by five different people what I was getting. This is just my taste but if I made an appointment then there should have been one or two people assigned to me that knew exactly what I was in for. Instead, I waited while seven people walk past me and five asking what I was getting.
The esthetician working on my feet was nice, I even hit my toe on the dryer and messed up my polish and she was nice enough to fix it. But the esthetician giving me my gel refill was rude. A lot of talking to other girls in Vietnamese, which I hate… So rude. They tried to keep my two OPI polishes that I brought for my refill and pedicure, ha.
So overall, I won’t be returning. I have a feeling this establishment will turn out like their other salon in Ardmore.
