Assured Pool Technicians

Did not have a good first experience with this place. Was looking for a place to install a new Pentair Variable Speed pool pump. I called the store and spoke to a lady who took my information and ensured me that Bob their pool technician would give me a call within the next couple of hours. I called back the next day and the same lady said Bob was busy and not sure why he didn’t call me yesterday but will call me back by the end of the day. End result is not even a return call after 2 calls, I guess business is too good for them for any potential new customers.

I went into the store and spoke with a man (I don’t recall his name) who was knowledgeable and quoted me a fair price. We filled out paperwork for service to begin and he told me he would mail me copies or bring them by when he came by to look at the pool. I had a man come to clean the pool every week who spoke no English. I happened to be home from work when he came by one day (he didn’t know I was home as my car was being serviced). He brought his young son with him. His son was looking in all of my windows, playing with my kids toys and actually jumped in my pool and swam for several minutes before I went outside and said something. Prior to going outside, I watched the man take my chemicals (they were supposed to provide chemicals) and use them. He never tested my water before adding chemicals. When I called to talk with the man at the store again and told him what I’d observed, he basically called me a liar. Not a company I would trust again to have near my home.

A few months after Bob did my work, I realized he didn’t hook up the back wash line. I have made repeated calls for months now, and he still hasn’t returned to finish his work. I can not recommend him for this lack of follow through on his service. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Bob has the best pool trouble shooting skill and good old fashioned know how to fix anything! Found assured pools from a swimming pool inspection on my new home have found Bob and Maggie to be as fair as possible and relentless in making this old pool beautiful
