Scab Industries

So I took the bus to a real VW mechanic and sure enough they found a bunch of things that Keney at Scab Industries had done wrong or missed completely. The guy at the new place was very surprised and agreed that Keney had no idea what he was doing. To start, the engine timing was WAY (30 degrees) off, which could have cause the pistons to burn. Good thing I did not drive it much! Keney had not put the tin or sheet metal that helps to keep the engine cool back the correct way, and even after I asked him if all the tin pieces where there I come to find out that they were not! He had also missed some screws and left other loose. There were miss routed wires, the starter was in the wrong place, etc. The new VW shop was able to get the carbs running, although Keney said there was nothing that could be done. They do need to be replaced, but at least now the engine idles, even when cold, which was something Keney said was not possible (and not they did not add a choke). He also said they had machined the hell out of the engine head, and that’s why it needed to be replaced. Keney should have waited to get the right part before he started suggesting/​or putting different size bolts in there. I’m very happy that I found this new repair shop. The staff is great and the prices are great not to mention the fact that they know what they are doing and they do it right.

If you want a great auto repair shop that will not rip you off. Than go see Scab Industries. They are located just down the street from the Long Beach Town Center. I took both my car and my girlfriends in and they had both cars running tip top shape the next day. I highly recommend Scab Industries for any auto repair or custom work.

Scab Industries is by far the best auto repair shop in Long Beach or Hawaiian Gardens. I took my Honda after having a nightmare with another auto repair shop and Kenny fixed my car in no time and the price was very affordable. You do not meet many honest repair shops but Kenny at Scab Industries is definately my go to auto repair shop
