They do decent work, but just make sure to talk to other plumbers first. If they do screw up they get very defensive.

Okay, as you can see, I revised my rating to 4 stars. I didnt go to 5 only because IMHO the resolution took long than it should have. We had a problem pertaining to the work done on our air conditioning unit. Eventually, they graciously resolved the situation… and that is what a reputable company does!

I am a new home owner and was terrified by what I saw going on with my plumbing. Spencer arrived on time and completely handled my (stinky) situation. He made me feel very comfortable that this was not a bigger deal then it really was. He went above and beyond my expectations, even hosed off the driveway when he was done. I am a realtor and not only will I be using this company again, I will be recommending them to all of my clients. Their pricing was also the most reasonable compared to other companies I called and the girl on phone when I scheduled the appointment was extremely helpful and pleasant as well. Thank you very much!!! Highly recommend!

We have rental properties in the South Bay (Gardena, Torrance, etc.) and Bob and Marc have done many jobs for us, and have always done a great job. They respond quickly to emergencies, are always professional and courteous with our tenants, and have done terrific work at a great price. We are glad we found them!

So I run a Dental Office and had a plumbing emergency and it was late. I needed the job to be done right away since I already had to close the office one day. I had Spencer and Paul come in the office and take care of the situation. It was a big job that had to get done. They went the extra mile and even stayed late almost till midnight. They were able to fix it and got me back to business the next day. I really appreciated what they did. By the way guys, your cones are still here if you want to pick them up. LOL.

Great Service and very professional people. I have had them on two different occasions for different problems. They were on time, they explained everything before and after. There were no unpleasant surprises. Izzy and Danny were wonderful. They know what they are doing and that’s the best complement as a lot of the plumbing business are just in for the money.

I Had a major sewer problem called a few companies out and as each one showed up the price just kept going up UNTIL Bob & Marc came out… They blew the other companies out of the water. No High pressure sales they allowed me to talk with my Husband when he got Home. I scheduled them — They came out and the job was done quickly and efficiently and my yard was put back like nothing occurred. I was so Happy since Easter was the following week. I am so GLAD I found them and will use them for the Future. I Highly recommend them to anyone in the South Bay :)

Spencer has been most helpful on 3 separate occasions. He usually shows up ahead of time and never late. He is always was polite, professional, fast and efficient. When I call in to Bob & Marc’s Plumbing I request Spencer’s services because I know he will get the job done. Thank you Spencer for a job well done.

I received a call from Barbara, the office manager, she apologized and tried to send someone out right away to give me an estimate. I had already scheduled the work with someone else. It is possible that maybe the managerial staff isn’t aware of the poor customer service that their schedulers are giving. Non the less I did appreciate Barbara calling trying to make it right with me.

My plumber that works in the South Bay recently retired and I contacted Bob & Marc to see if they could assist with a current and future clients.
My appointment was confirmed for today between 3:30pm and 5pm and this was all done on behalf of our client. We were assured that the technician would be able to make this appointment and scheduled the client and another inspector (physical inspector) at the same time as well.
We just received a call (at 2:45pm for our 3:30pm — 5pm appt window) stating that they would not be sending anyone out to inspect as promised.
Needles to say, this is incredibly unprofessional. Our client is unhappy and we were not even afforded reasonable time to line up another company to provide the service that our client deserves. Do not use Bob & Marc.

I have used Bob & Marc in the past with awesome service. The people that work there from the phone call to the service people are kind, helpful, considerate, and caring people. I feel like they can be trusted and priced fairly. The work is exceptional and on time.
This company was kind enough to give me a second opinion when another company tried to rip me off. I highly recommend them to everyone.

This company is a rip off. I asked for an estimate to replace a bathroom faucet and was given an estimate for 150 (for labor only, faucet was provided by me). However, I was billed 300.
I called the company to complain, and was told that they had to replace something a tubing. How can they replace something else that doubles the estimated amount without my permission?
Caulking leaking toilet cost 200, that’s more than replacing a new toilet!!!
Beware. I had found them on Angie’s list because of excellent reviews, but few weeks later when I planned to write a review there, found out they were suspended from Angie’s list due to suspected fraudulent reviews to improve their ratings.

Thanks to Bob & Marc Plumbing my tentants are happy as well as I am. They were quick to respond to my call, they have great customer service and very professional and smart staff. As usual, I will definitely be calling them back.

Came home this evening to a backed-​up shower and toilette… I called and John showed up within 30 minutes. He went right to work and unclogged whatever it was. I found the service excellent and John was fantastic; professional and terribly friendly. From my experience, I think you would be silly not call Bob & Marc when the need arises. Very quick work and at the right price.

My husband called to get an appointment for someone to look into an issue with our AC and was told there was a $ 113 charge just to come out and give a quote for repair. When my husband expressed surprise that there was a charge just to come out, the woman on the phone said «Have a nice day.» and hung up.
We’ve done work with contractors who charge just to come out, and of course they always apply that charge to any work done, but that also encourages them to quote high since you’re already paying them $ 113 just to look at it and will likely proceed rather than get a second opinion. We found them to be extremely rude and never got past the initial call to set up an appointment.
