CrossFit is a general fitness program and lifestyle that borrows the best practices from a wide array of sport, strength, and conditioning programs. CrossFit athletes run, jump, lift, throw, row, climb, and move their own body weight in workouts that are fun, varied, and effective. Crossfit is a program that allows anybody — from professional athletes to those looking to get in shape for the first time in their life — to reach and surpass their fitness goals. CrossFit SOAR is comprised of a team of Athlete-​Trainers who care passionately about your health and fitness. We created CrossFit SOAR to help you take your fitness level — and overall well-​being — to a higher level, in an inclusive, non-​judgmental, warm Community. We have worked with a tremendous range of clients with all types of fitness levels — ranging from tactical operators and elite athletes to first timers and heavily unconditioned candidates. The nature of our workouts is the same; only the intensity level varies.

History

Established in 2010.

CrossFit SOAR started in Steve’s garage with his sons and some friends. When we started achieving astonishing results we decided to expand our size and offer the gift of CrossFit to the Community. Dave brought our programming and training to a substantially higher level, such that we’re able to address the needs of a full range of Athletes, from beginners to highly competitive (Division I and even Professional) Athletes.

We have never looked back. Our Community is our reason for being and why we enjoy waking up in the morning (but maybe not at 4 am!).

Business Owner

I am a strength and conditioning geek. I try to read and try everything that comes out from the big dawgs in strength training, olympic lifting, nutrition, sports performance, and CrossFit. In addition to being a competitive athlete in my previous life, for several years I have trained people for sport as well as general fitness using CrossFit. For example, during my tenure as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Morris Hills Girls Track and Field Team, we went to Nationals for the first time ever. I am excited for the opportunity to coach and train at CrossFit SOAR and I look forward to helping you achieve your fitness goals.
