First, when you walk into the restaurant you are greeted by the fat Buddha statue instead of an actual human(host). Second, the place looks unorganized, paper menus and newspapers all over the empty tables. A bowl of –what looked to be old steamed salmon– was left out along with some pasta in a dirty silver bowl. We had no idea who to talk to order because no one spoke to my husband and I. Eventually some guy calls us to the kitchen to order(how tacky) and the ambience was just very unwelcoming and«dry» –Huge«Red flag!» We were hungry so went ahead and ordered anyway… smh. We placed our order with the man in the kitchen(Shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, vegetable eggroll and steamed veggies with garlic taste) We were given a free cookie. Shrimp fried rice: Over fried if you can say, hard and dry. Hardly any shrimp. To much soy sauce. Orange chicken: Ok, sort of mushy and could’ve been a little more crunchy, in my opinion. Steamed Veggies with garlic: So far so good I liked the hint of garlic on the broccoli. A tab bit salty though. Eggrolls: Very good and dipping them in the wasabi sauce and sweet & sour sauce gave it a little kick. In conclusion… My husband ended up getting the runs and I had a lot of gas the next day. First and last time I will eat at this establishment.

Worst experience ordering delivery. Placed a $ 120 order, gave $ 20 tip to a delivery person so rude it shocked me. Took 2 hours to deliver, too. I called to complain because they sent double entrée but no soup, which wasn’t in our order. Their push back & confusion from management was unreal so I cancelled soup. My friends work in service and I’ve never posted a bad review, until this situation. Avoid at all costs, food isn’t very good either. Update: to their credit, they did return to deliver soup(but I didn’t eat it).

HORRIBLE, Horrible, horrible!!! 1 ½ hour wait for delivery that’s 10mins away from their restaurant! The food was cold and they tried to throw in dumplings hoping to make the situation better. They are rude and hang up on you when you’re trying to find out where your food is. It’s not worth what they charge and they should be removed from the Eat24 service. No one should have to endure such horrible service again.

I had a delivery from Golden Phoenix. I ordered Steamed Chicken and Broccoli with sauce on side. I never received the chicken and called the store two times BUT he insisted I didn’t order chicken… just broccoli. Yeah right. Told him I would spread the word online so out of towners can take heed. He called back and offered to deliver the chicken after I told him too late… I’m full. But he wouldn’t adjust the price

Gross AF& over-priced! They don’t know how to cook honey walnut shrimp. It was floury with thin watery sauce; not even completely coated! And the rice is so f*in dry. Eww stay away!

Most HORRIBLE place to eat! They have the nerve to want to leave flyers/menus on doorsteps! They need to stop advertising this terrible place. Maybe if their customer service and food was of quality service they wouldn’t feel a need to advertise!

-***** minis 5 star’s this place is the biggest ripoff. 1. they charge you a $ 3.00 service fee even if you pickup your order. 2 you have to check your order if it’s right and complete. 3. They are very rude. 4. They take longer than most Chinese restaurants and the the food is not even cooked all the way. This place needs to be shut down. WARNINGATYOUROWNRISK.

I went and ordered the shrimp chow mein. When my food came out the man there packing my food licked his fingers to open the bag and give me my utenils. I only live 3 mins away and when I came home to eat, it was ice cold. When I called up there he told me I was lying and placed me on hold. So I called back and he just heard my voice and hung up the phone. What an ass! Buyers beware! I should have known bc I was the only customer in there. I will NEVER go back there.

Has only changed slightly, and for the better, since I went with my parents in the late 70’s/early 80’s. The booths on the North side appear to be the same and the south side has been cleared for tables that can be positioned differently for banquets, parties, and other larger events. The food also tastes almost exactly the same! Nostalgia!

Tis is my second time ordering from this place and i can’t for the life of me understand where these reviews are coming from. Food is always on point, the delivery drivers couldn’t be more polite, and it comes in a decent time.

I ordered the lemon chicken, orange chicken, fried rice and vegetable chow mein. I called in my order for pick up. I arrived 30 minutes after I called in my order and these people did not even begin to prepare my food until I got there. WTF? I won’t even talk about what the interior looks like. Sad… smh… I waited an additional 15 minutes for my food to be prepared. They weren’t even nice about it. I was just told to «sit down.» Obviously my time doesn’t mean a damn thing around this place. I finally got my food and hurried home because I was in a rush. I opened up the paper bag and made my honey and my son a plate. I dipped the chicken into the lemon chicken sauce ready to enjoy and I was dismally disappointed. The sauce on the lemon chicken tasted straight out of a can. Like ground up metal for real! YUCK! Nobody ate any of it after the initial bite. What a waste of $ 10! I really wanted to take that disgusting ish back. Time did not permit that action, damn! Then they threw in some«free» bao. I was hoping it would be vegetable or pork. I’ve had bao before and I really liked it! Whatever was inside that steamed bun tasted like sweet ashes. I mean damn! I was wiping my tongue off with a baby wipe cause I was scared to get it on my toothbrush. Ok. I was hungry and I paid $ 40 for this nightmare of a takeout meal so I was gonna eat this ish someway, somehow. Everything else was edible. The chow mein was actually good. Hence the 2 stars. I know, I generous. LOL… I wouldn’t recommend this place at all! They are waaaayyyy overpriced for this food. I really really really want my money back for that horrid lemon chicken. I’m better off going to Panda Express or Hong Kong!

Unfortunately rushed for time on my lunch break, i went against this place’s rating and stopped by for some chicken fried rice anyway:(The feel of the place was sad, the prices are too high, the food wasnt fresh, and the service was horrible(the lady wouldnt get off the phone with whoever she was laughing with, to deal with my bill). I see no reason why to ever recommend this place to anyone. Id move on and find another spot if i were you.

Called to order dinner, food came within the 45 minutes as promised. Driver however was rude, barked at me to come open the gate then went to wait at the wrong place and barked at me when I ran back inside to grab my phone and came back out. The food was nothing to write home about. I think frozen food that I would have reheated would have tasted better. The only thing that was good from the meal was the egg drop soup. The eggplant and tofu was mostly oil. The shrimp shu mai wasn’t anything to write home about. The free $ 8 fried wonton was so greasy that it permeated the entire food… Will not order here again!

We ate here Sunday. Excellent and authentic. WE ordered several dishes and everything was made fresh so it took about 30 minutres. The service was great. But it’s very Divey. Tight –Dukes of Hazard –style parking and the bathrooms were to be avoided.

I should have listened to the reviews. Ordered through They sent me my combination noodles with a big container of sauce and ingredients and a packet of dry noodles. How the fuck am I supposed to combine the two at the hotel? I tried and the noodles could not soften completely to eat. Fail. Never again

I ordered sushi, it tasted like it came out of their home fish aquarium. For all I know, I was eating gold fish. It was NOT fresh despite their claims. Their spicy tuna is just nasty, ground fish and some Chinese hot sauce. The texture of the fish was just BAD. They took over TWOHOURS to deliver the order. After I spat out my food, I called to get a refund. They refused. Eat24 saved the day and at least got my refund, since the food was chucked into the trash. Super Market sushi is better than this. If you want Ebola, GOTOTHISPLACE!

A friend and I ate here this week while we were visiting from out of town. We decided to try them despite the bad reviews and really, I don’t know what everyone’s problem is. The place is small and old and very empty but that doesn’t bother me. We ordered vegetable chow mein, vegetable mushu, orange tofu, and schezwan eggplant. The food came out quickly and it tasted fine. The eggplant and mushu seemed to lack the full flavor I am used to but it was still good. I have had better Chinese food, but I’ve also had worse. My favorite was the orange tofu… the cubes of tofu were crispy and the orange sauce had great flavor. Their customer service needs help though. The guy who took the order and brought the food was a little offish and only came back to bring our check… didn’t ask how we were or the food. And I had to ask for a glass of water twice before I got it. Later that night I did get a upset stomach but I’m not sure if it was the food or the combo of Chinese and frozen yogurt I had after. I would come back here.

Ha ha ha… Why did I have to go back near the kitchen to order my food?! Where’s the person upfront taking my order and greeting me; instead I got a guy waving me to the back saying«come here come here». Anyway I was still hungry so I just ordered a simple crispy chicken wonton(qty 10pcs) for $ 4.99 — that’s all I ordered to get me through the night. But wait there’s more — I guess they review the restaurant and gotten graded an «A» but obviously it wasn’t on customer service. How do you know if those signs are real or fake?! Anyway — I’m glad I have an IRONSTOMACH!!! Actually the wontons weren’t that bad or maybe I was just hungry. Lol!
