Wow, this place is small compare to other bars. If you like bumping into other people, than this bar is perfect for you. The music is loud enough that you can’t have a normal conversation and the restroom is dirty just the way you expect a bar bathroom to be. With all this been said, the prices are reasonable.

Chill bar. Stopped by on a Thursday w my gfs & enjoyed some cold brews. Love the music videos on the big screen tvs & bar tender was very attentive.
We will definitely be back!

The place is small, they have a pool table that barely fits so its difficult to play bc the pool sticks hit the walls. They use to offer free WiFi now they don’t and they have a karaōke that sounds poor. Limited beer on tap. David one of the owners is cool and very friendly. They lack security and ghetto disrespectful men go drink there and sexually harassed me a few times. W pulls not recommend for any female to go there without a male companion!

This place is just o-​kay. Nothing special or bad about it, just blah.
The previous owner had the coolest beer on tap. Local brews, put you on your ass IPA’s, etc. But since ownership changed so did thevariety in beers. The only brew they had on tap was dos xx. That’s it. The beers were served chill in their original bottles which had an authentic dive feel, but selection was limited.

Found this low key gem on Unilocal near the hotel we were staying at and im glad we stopped by. The owner made us feel welcome from the second we sat down. Music playing was on point, the beer was perfect, would def come back! Highly recommended!

Coolest bartender I know, my friends and I missed the boxing match the other day, he put it on and it was like if we were watching live, drinking bomb micheladas and blue moon, chips and salsa came through, one of my regular Hawthorne bars. Next time I’ll hit up that ps3 and play fifa

The Break Bar is a welcome addition to Hawthorne and the South Bay. Cheap beer/​wine/​sake/​soju, easy parking, a massive big screen, darts, free wifi, and you can bring or order food. A really relaxing place to hang out! The owners are very humble and welcoming! They play all sports with big TVs! They even welcome beer pong games! THEIR PRICES ARE VERY GOOD! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BAR for everyone! Their happy hour is great! You can play any music you want it’s a very modernized small comfort bar I’ve ever been too!
